bro always remember: -you can wallrun, -you can air dash, -grapple, -no stamina while running while out of combat, -intro and outro, -concerto bar, -forte circuit, -echo skills, -act 1 to 3 is slow but decent kinda then 4 till the end of 1st chapter is drastically changed, -weapon banners are always 100%, -tactical hologram is always a nightmare idk why it exist, -Somnoire and the Depths of Illussive Realm, -echo exp ... echo exp is dogsht so make sure use it wisely, -their's spoiler boss challenge to get their mats early for new characters like Roccia, Carlotta, etc... (but not worth because other mats are in Rinacita), -you can straight up to 2.0/chapter 2 but all the story will be left out and may confuse you, but you can go back go finish them anytime but the expirience will be confusing so I'm not recommend that, and finally -LINYANG IS FREAKING SUCKS ... I HATE THAT GUY EVERY TIME I LOSE 50-50. ehem: my english is dogsht so sorry haha ... enjoy wuwa man it is fun to play it specially when you come to Rinacita soon you will see the changes of 1.0 to 2.0

Holograms exist because some of us dont suck at the combat and want hard combat challenge cus we enjoy the combat yw. Ps: no I don't say you suck I just answered your question on why it exists. to make it not a "nightmare" you need to not suck at the combat it's pretty fun imo.

You can change your MC in game whenever you like (the cooldown being 24h I think). But yes, it's an absolutely stunning and fun game! Everything is so detailed and the characters as well as npcs are so good looking and expressive. It's a playable anime. I'm glad you're having fun with the game.

Really enjoyed your first part of playing Wuthering Waves! I'm glad that even the understandable slow pacing and world building in the beginning you were locked in on the lore. I play with Japanese voices so I didn't notice the pronunciation differences, but I know that early on there was some issues with voice direction which you will definitely see improvements as the story goes on & the story patches you play closer to the most up-to-date story. The storytelling also gets better as there is way more changes in camera transitions & not just a static camera the whole conversations. Kuro as a company has been really great about listening to feedback & adding more quality of life which makes your experience even better than when we played it! Glad you are enjoying it & looking forward to the next part!

Finally playing peak~! Just a fun fact~ Resonators are more of mutants. Some have changes on their bodies lkike Yangyang with feather hair. Chixia with her temperature manipulation to make fire bullets. You'll meet other playable characters with more physical mutations soon~ There are NPCs too with confirm powers

the initial couple acts will be rather slow and dialogue heavy and most people do agree that the voice acting is also rather subpar during them too the reason behind this is because apparently they had rush the first few acts to completion since the game was releasing not long after the closed beta and why exactly was the first few acts not finished yet; beta testers didnt liked the first draft for the initial arcs so they redid it resulting in the new arc feeling awkwardly placed compared to later arcs and apparently some characters who were suppose to be introduced in the original version just never got introduced at all all kuro got outa it is that the first draft was likely better (they called us out in zhezhi’s trailer with the snobby npc saying “the first draft was better”) the few clips of the original storyline for the initial arcs on yt shows it was gonna be much darker with yangyang almost getting killed by the tutorial boss, she was overclocking thus necessitating immediate medical attention too and characters were much more hostile like at one point chixia pointed her gun at our face at near point blank range fully willing to pull the trigger if needed…

my luck in wuthering waves at the beginning of the game was crazy, firstly i picked to get Calcharo for free, then i got Encore in the 20% off banner, then i got Jiyan and His weapon. i was so happy. unfourtunately things started going downhill from there 😅

The story starts slow but it really ramps up past chapter 3 so take your time and see what u can all do, there's alot to explore but i never have found it overwhelming since they did alot of gameplay inprovements. Used to be that you can only heal at resonance nexuses, but now you can heal at any resonance nexus and beacons too.

The beginning of the story act 1-3 are not that good but it gets better and better the more you're in. Also Yangyang and Chixia voice direction was L in 1.0 thats why they pronounce names and locations weird and different every time. Other characters speak normally and it was also improved in 1.1+. The worst is almost behind you... waiting for part 2... at least i hope you'll give it another try ;o

As a player since day one of this game, I now see people playing and I wonder, "Was it really that bad in 1.0?" Honestly, knowing and having consolidated the lore of the game, I don't think 1.0 was a disaster at all, as many people believe. It wasn't spectacular either, but it had its moments.

@Kayfliings well, a lot of people are like that, but there are also CCs with respectable opinions who said that 1.0 was horrible and i don't really get it. i think the biggest problem it had was the voice acting and maybe the beta story was more interesting, but other than that, 1.0 was pretty good as a prologue for me.

i downloaded when it launched. im a genshin player so that took up some time but now i find myself doin my dailies on genshin just to log off to play this game. i like it, not THAT many characters but then again it did just come out my fav part is being able to skip the cut scenes. its torture having to wait for genshin to allow u to press X just for the next line of dialog.

Every character is good in WuWa. Dont be afraid to invest in them if you like the playstyle. You can clear ToA, which is the endgame content like The Spiral Abyss in Genshin with any units.

hehehe 1st mistake i also did in this game is always sprinting for no reason genshin habits. but here you dont sprint u wait for and dodge so u wont ran out of stamina cuz u will be needing a lot of dodges than sprinting in battle

I was gave up at wuwa at first release, for me the writing story style on 1.0 feels like i read random story on elden ring, they use too much premium english (thats what i said), that a foreigners like me who mainly speak on bahasa and Japan feels so hard to understand, even on japan i see theres some a kanji that i cant even read it. On 2.0 update i give it another try and good thing they fix the writing script for story to easier to understand 🎉 and they add some good features that make the exploration more easy.

The game picks up immediately in 1.1 it took 2 months lmao You 100% should play the story quests in order though after major story arcs as they slot in and add to the lore they aren't garbo filler The earlier 1.0 stories can be skipped if you don't care (cough LingYang)
