I feel people in your chat were misleading with the Annihilation Gang one. In case you didn't know, only Duke Inferno got killed it was stated his children fled, and you even spoke to Constance in the story via someone else's memory. So we will see the children in the future.

_Kyoden_ is SSS-tier. Not only is it visually stunning, and it tells the story of Izumo getting swallowed by IX, so can be understood on its own merits, but it is a massive reference to _Honkai Impact 3rd_ by duplicating the story of the civilization of Mu from the Previous Era 50,000 years before the game's story: The Kami are analogous to the Honkai, a multiversal force seemingly bent on civilization's destruction wherever it is. The Sovereigns that lead them are the Herrschers, individuals anointed by the Cocoon of Finality to lead the Kami / Honkai, with full control over a conceptual force. Those concepts are directly listed in both the video, and the description. On Mu, the scientists of the Firemoth Organization, led by Dr. MEI, that fought the Honkai used the cores of defeated Herrschers to create the Divine Key weapons, which held the same, or similar powers, to fight subsequent Herrschers. On Izumu, the cores from defeated Kami were used to forge the Twelve Sentinels. all swords with the same powers. Humanity would eventually fall to the Herrscher of the End, however as part of Project SAVE, they would cast a light into the future in the form of hidden individuals put into cryosleep, who would carry the lost technology of the past into the future, the Current Era. On Izumo, however, MEI was able to defeat _End_ with _Origin_ , and so the Kami were defeated. However, this also meant failing in their embrace with the Imaginary. Izumo would have had other chances, because civilizations often get caught in samsara cycles while dealing with the Honkai (see also _GunGirlsZ_ and _HI3_ itself), however both Izumo and the world the Honkai had conquered before it (I can't spell it off the top of my head) were swallowed by IX. When MEI tried to strike at IX by reforging _Origin_ into _Life_ , she came into IX's gaze, and they accidentally made her their Emanator, Acheron, reforging _Life_ into _Naught_ . Also, the male voice is credited as Shirakami Oni. In the Chinese and Japanese versions, he shares voice actors with a character from _HI3_ named 'Kevin.' Kevin was in love with Dr. MEI, became humanity's greatest warrior in the Previous Era, and when he returned, became the leader of the World Serpent organization. He is also the progenitor of House Kaslana, to which one of the game's three protagonists, Kiana Kaslana, belongs. Kiana is also Mihoyo's darling, having been the main character of their games since _FlyMe2TheMoon_ . A version of her has appeared in almost every one of their other games since. Anyway, Kevin was Dr. MEI's love interest, so Shirakami might have had a similar role. He seems to have stolen the Authority of Finality, and merged with the sword called _End_ so that MEI could destroy it using _Origin_ . Kevin did something similar in _HI3_ 's Part 1 Finale, stealing the Authority of Finality so no true Herrscher of the End could manifest in the Current Era. Another difference to note is the presence or absence of Elysia: The Previous Era we're familiar with in _HI3_ had thirteen Herrschers and thirteen Flame-Chasers, not twelve. This is because Elysia was the one who founded the Flame-Chasers, and made it possible for Herrschers to choose to fight for Humanity instead of for the Honkai. Contrary to that, Izumo did not have an Elysia, and it would seem, accoridng to the _HI3_ story, that she is the exceptional existence, rather than the rule. This runs true in _GGZ_ , where there are many more Herrschers, they are significantly more powerful, and the Honkai really do mean to destroy all civilization, not bring them into an Embrace with the Imaginary Tree on which all the Honkaiverse and its worlds exist. So Izumo was a world that beat its Herrschers, but fell into IX anyway, making MEI, who became Acheron, feel as though her long fight against the Kami was for nothing.

Acheron's video is not very visual, but rather about how to achieve the right impressions by drawing at a minimum. The most important thing was the stunning references to Honkai Impact 3rd. I would rate the video for a solid S, yes, for the references. :)
