7:07 just a note, Tartaglia's JP line (スキを見せるのはほんの一瞬だ iirc) basically translates to "You only show an opening but for a moment", or "When you let your guard down, it'll last for the slightest moment", as is, that instant you let your guard down you die, so the moment is fleeting lol. I hope that made sense :') Of course, japanese being japanese, you COULD take it as Tartaglia letting his guard down, but imo it doesn't make as much sense, which is probably why the EN TL went with the official TL.... I guess Maeno thought that maybe "suki wo miseru" could either have a double meaning (suki does mean "like" also and japanese do love their puns...) or just Tartaglia having fun thus letting his guard down, which is interesting to think about!! I love japanese even when it's like this, man. Thanks for the TL!!

I just love how much of a simp and how cheerful Horie Shun reacts to the PVs alongside Maeno's cool and calm comments but he keeps making comments of the characters' smell lol it's so cute and funny also how Maeno went along to describe Zhongli's smell similar to a rock or asphalt (I wonder how does that smells like). I do agree that despite Zhongli looking modest, his smell certainly isn't modest in a sense from how I understood there is a regalness and probably a strong masculine scent looking at Zhongli (he probably smells like Osthmanthus wine, who knows?) which is a good observation on Horie-san's part. I just love their reactions and chemistry in hosting. That line about being Tartaglia's plaything is so funny ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) (bruh did you see how that Ginger dude just drowned Liyue and almost killed Sora-kun) what a simp.

When people said that JP Zhongli was the worst, that means those people doesn't know anything about Chinese Poetry (well, they are using the same language characters). Only lame people listening to "I will have order" than "When the Heavens move, All creatures follow."😂

I’m probably biased as a native speaker but Chinese is so efficient, you can see when it uses only four characters to convey such a grand meaning, which is quite a common case in Classical Chinese and even modern. Most in-game text about Liyue is written in half-classical Chinese. Also you would feel the CN VA is able to speak slower than JP and EN because there’re simply fewer words to say, while meaning no less since it’s the original language and voice lines in other languages are translated from it. It’s conciseness that entails elegance in Chinese, instead of complication. (As far as I know, to be extra polite in Japanese, the sentence usually goes longer than usual. And in English, using more clauses sounds more educated.) So I always feel the CN and JP voices give off very different vibes. When I saw people saying in the PV comments that “CN is also good but i will have order just hits different” I’m like “that’s because you don’t understand Chinese.” The VA is good no doubt, but the Chinese line is way so much better. Also 万象/萬象 doesn’t just mean creatures, it’s everything including lifeless things. A common use is 万象更新, everything is refreshed, usually used to describe the beginning of spring. So you can feel what it means…

CN and JP Zhongli goated, but they are flaming the JP Zhongli because his characteristics was too young (well yes, he is, 6000 Years of Age but still looks like a Young Man [Hutao]). Maybe I had some mistranslations with the 'Creatures', it's more like 'Creations' that resembles the entities of the earth. Thank you for your correction. Peace upon us😁

@@calvinalexander6572 Yes I always have this subtle gentleness for Japanese because we share many characters and less meaning is lost through translation, even though I only know a tiny bit from watching anime lol. And yes I don’t think sounding young is a problem, since as you mentioned Hu Tao says he looks young, and he’s trying to cover up his true identity. I’m just saying it’s different when CN VA speaks slower. For the Chinese, he sounds like a composed adeptus, which is a cultural concept hard to be explained, and apparently many people like that. I myself switch between different voice packages from time to time to appreciate different features in their voices~

@@mistin9036 Peng Bo delivers Zhongli with some Nobility in it, the 'god presence' was there even though as you type before, he speaks slower than JP. But hey, He's a 'god' after all HAHAHAHA. I don't even need to do deep research in it whether if Zhongli is a god or nope by hearing his voice. He speaks with Traditional Chinese Poetic and it hits so hard with the character (Zhongli). Even that line about '天动万象' and his other voice lines couldn't be translated by Google Translate directly to grasp the true meaning.

I’ve read a lot of comments on this topic so it’s not just my own opinion- it seems the CN community thinks sounding more at ease makes him look more powerful. It’s like, I know what I can do, I have everything in control, so I don’t need to show others. So being slow and god-like are not contradictory~ btw the line where he gives the gnosis to Signora, (I believe the EN version also uses sort of classical vocabulary tho I can’t remember the exact words), those choices of words are literally what an emperor would use to a subject, so condescending, so unequal, just the monarch figure as he is-I just love it. Sorry for saying too much if this disturbs you…

@@shining3759 Yukari Tamura-san is less likely to be invited into the radio, since she had the counterpart acting as Theresa. (So far, only Koga Aoi (Rozaliya), Aoi Yuuki (Rita), and Rie Tanaka (Himeko) that are featured to Genshin since they have less impact in the Honkai story. Don't give too much hopes to those who have significant role on Honkai to be featured in Genshin😂)
