The God of Storms, Decarabian, was slained by the people with the help of Venti. Andrius stepped down from being a candidate and sacrificed his physical form to nourish the lands, leaving Venti as the last candidate. After he had led his people to Cider Lake, he left to heal the wounds of the world from the war, and met the other archons. He then went to a deep slumber for 1600 years. He was awaken by the cries of his people and discovered the aristocracy. He then helped Vennessa to overthrow the aristocracy and start fresh.

Theory: We saw multiple times in vids that Venti/Mondstandt Gnosis has a "crown" on the head that would mean that the owner(Venti/Barbatos) is more special and his ppl ofc, than we tought since he summoned Istaroth power that mean that his connection with Celestia is more bound than we tought, he changed time and "winds" countless times. When venti sayd "we meet again Traveler" that means he already meet us (again) countless times.
