39:12 This track was playing for me in act II while we have our talk with Neuvillette after he and Navia reconciled, with Paimon noting the rain stopped as a result. After which the screen pans to the quest conclusion text. That moment combined with the sentimental music just hit in a way previous quest have not done to me. Fontaine is the place to be!

@@bear-ym1xu this is really late so i hope by now you've been able to go through the quest chain and experience it for yourself! block of text incoming V4.0, you get the variations of Nymph's Tea Party and Dream Through the Looking-Glass. differences here are the deeper bells and woodwind (likely clarinet and flute?) in the second version. V4.1, from what i can hear it is still Dream Through the Looking-Glass, but the melody by the clarinet is much more prominent and the bells are more subdued in the background. there is also the addition of some very nice strings that play the part of the woodwinds in Looking-Glass. i think the standout clarinet is a reference to the other track related to this questline, Ann's Quiescent Residence :) V4.2, the climax and end of the questline brings the addition of vocals to the one from V4.1, and i also think the deeper strings are brought out more (but that could just be the quality of the video i sourced it from, as they are not officially released yet). definitely a favourite from all of fontaine's ost. and a favourite world quest overall!

13:45 feels like a breath of fresh air every time I hear it. It leans into the British Isles side of Fontaine's inspiration, and it nails it. It feels a bit like a Celtic ballad, and reminds me particularly of Green Fields of France. One of my favorite tracks in Fontaine.

tbh it just sounds like a pretty boring bach cello suite piece. I really don't like this region's music because it's just filled with worse than average baroque which I listen to all the time (violin, cello, guitar, mendolin, etc.) the mood music is boring, and there's very little charm in most of this region's music. The only outstanding tracks are I feel is the main waltz and the battle theme. This is definitely my least favorite region in terms of music.

"Clement Rillet" 13:45 really reminds me of Dropkick Murphys' cover of "Green Fields of France (No Man's Land). Listening to the latter and then Clement keeps me reminded of 1914-1918. Lest we forget... "Ondulations du rythme (Undulations of Rhythm)" 19:01 is just too somber especially for a sunny day journey in the slopes of Bellau Region... it's so relaxing too... And omg "Les Nuits" is very good...not just for the composition but the fact it's used in the moonlight journeys in Bellau and Beryl...😌 "Nocturnal Illumination" is just sad...but it fits wandering at night with the stars...

22:18 I SWEAR I'VE HEARD THIS BEFORE. It's so familiar, it has been bugging me since I started exploring Fontaine! I heard it first time in a fairy tale movie called "The 10th Kingdom" from 20 years ago. This is like the music we can hear in Diluc's house, which is a rearranged version of "Greensleeves". Or all of the Vivaldi, Bach & Chopin music that is splattered all around Fontaine. But this one is NOT modified or rearranged, it sounds exactly the same. It's some medieval music and I don't know if "Peripatetic perenigration" is the original title or if they just changed it (like the Greensleeves theme).

I like the Polish accent in 29:33 . The name of the song is the same as Henryk Sienkiewicz's historical novel (which translates to "Where are you going?") and the song resembles Chopin's Nocturne in C Sharp Minor (no. 20)
