It's so stupid, sure you may say the she doesn't know the full potential of Sans, and most people I think really don't know that. (Except for probably Asgore) But I do believe that making Undyne completely oblivious to Sans being able to fight just makes her come off as stupid. I think when people make her react like that, they should focus on her knowing he is able to fight but worried about that low stats he has

If I do plan on continuing this, it'll be kinda like that yeah. They won't remember any of it, but they'll take up different times in the grand timeline of things. So may in the next reaction, Sans has a bit of knownledge of the AUs, mostly from the bad time trio event. Then maybe a few videos in the future, he actually starts remembering the past timelines. If I do plan on continuing this, it'll be like that

Yo, this video was awesome, nice job! I think you really nailed how most of them would react in this situation. Gotta say, I'm really glad to see the reaction to the Dusttale Sweetness video, it's a wonderful animation and is one of my favorite Dusttale videos. I am a bit curious though, I think that the first time that Sans and Toriel officially learn each other's names is in the Throne Room, right? Or, is that not the case here?

@@GenTem Yeah, that does make a lot of sense. Probably a stupid question on my end, since like you said it's been established that they were childhood friends... Only thing I can really think of is that since Toriel wouldn't have seen Sans in a very long time (since she left right after her kids died), she might not recognize his voice as an adult? I dunno. Still, that does add a bit more depth to the whole exchanging jokes through the door thing, since instead of Sans trading jokes with a stranger (who, let's be honest, he probably knew was the Queen in canon), he is instead trading jokes with someone who he knows is probably in a very dark place, trying to keep her spirits up like the Comic he is.

That could be a possibility, but I think Toriel did not recognize him by his voice, but by his jokes and him just talking about himself, if anything. It also gives a bit more depth to the promise Sans would make to Toriel, since he had already killed four humans, and Toriel personally asking him to keep the next human safe would mean that he would get reminded of Chara Also yeah, Sans definitely had ties with the royalty, be it from him being a judge or from him being a royal scientist, or at least a assistent before. I doubt that he wouldn't know who Toriel, Asriel or Chara is, even if the headcanon that they knew each other as kids is incorrect. Call Sans a lot of things, but dumb isn't one of them

@@GenTem Yeah, it would definitely make sense for Toriel to recognize him through his general manner of speaking. Also, even if Sans didn't know Toriel personally, if he knew that she had fled to the Ruins and he just so happens to be exchanging jokes with a female monster when the Queen is known to have loved jokes... Yeah, Sans definitely isn't stupid. I actually just had a thought in regards to your headcanon... What if Frisk wasn't the first human Sans promised to protect? What if, when she saw how close Sans was to the Royal Siblings, he asked Sans to protect Chara, knowing that many monsters likely wouldn't take too kindly to their ticket to freedom being raised and protected by the Royal Family? It would add a whole new level to the promise, and it would make sense why Sans is willing to let Frisk pass by him when they have killed so many monsters, including his own brother, as long as they aren't on a Genocide route. Heck, it would explain why so few of the monsters that Frisk encounters genuinely want to take their soul, if Sans was driving off and misdirecting some of the more aggressive and skilled monsters... It also adds a whole new level of heartbreak when Sans says "Sorry, old lady. This is why I never make promises," since this would be the second time Sans has broken a promise to Toriel.

Really cool concept, I think I have seen it a few times before but it's always nice to see it done well. Man undyne was much more violent back then huh? Lol And well I think clasicshift is more accurate than clasicshift chans, like you said the dynamic is different, while similar it's a pretty different power dynamic imo. Besides, I assume people are more okay with classicshift than chans, even if the former is technically the ladder, just having chans in the tags could bring some nasty people into the comments too.

Well, considering how Bravery shot her right in the left eye and almost killed her before Sans managed to resolve the situation, I would say she has a few reasons to be a bit more hostile towards humans :p (And without Frisk doing what they did in game and actually showing Undyne that humans can also be good it was to be expected. Unlike Sans, Alphys, Asgore and Toriel, Undyne was not born to see the outside world, before everything went down, so her experience with humans was baiscally just the fallen souls she managed to encounter, and bravery certainly left quite an impression on her) And yeah you're right, I should just put Classicshift in the description, just in case

It's up to interpretation, but game Sans couldn't really see timelines perfectly, even if he could a tiny bit. Or else he would change his attack pattern on his fight, for example

uh, if i may, a tip? try not to use thought or speech bubbles in the same screenshot, it can be confusing on what to read first or make people pause the video other than that, the video quality was great, the sound was great, and the designs delivered a wonderful feeling of nostalgia!

I try not to, but sometimes it's impossible to not have more than one speech/thought bubble per screenshot. Sometimes it would make the reactions feel delayed, but I always try to do one of them per screenshot, and if I have to use more than one, I usually leave the screenshots going for longer x.x Thank you for the tips and glad you liked it
