I discovered this specific channel sometime around two years ago I think. It was one of the gentle face treatment videos I believe. I love all of the themes you do as it is the safe and gentle nature of your context that draws me in. As someone who was abused in multiple ways by an ex husband, finding peace in male ASMR was difficult before you showed such gentle compassion and asked for the consent of the viewers to touch them as if you were physically there. As someone who nearly didn’t survive their situation, I cannot thank you enough for creating such a safe space in ASMR. You are doing things most people don’t even consider to make sure this is truly a place people can come to be calm with no anxiety about how the video will effect their mental health.

I’m usually INCREDIBLY uncomfortable with male asmrtists because I have c-ptsd and DID due to continued abuse by men starting from a very very young age and asmr requires sort of a subconscious state of trust towards the person doing it, but I want you to know you’re the FIRST male asmrtist that doesn’t make me feel uncomfortable, I actually feel safe and that’s…really nice.

@ absolutely nothing wrong with being masculine! I like masculine, but…to be honest I don’t associate masculine men with asmr. Most asmr I have seen and enjoyed has a female, mothering type. He still looks tough and like he would be a good protector in my opinion too but is dang good at asmr. 🤗

This is the perfect ASMR video. The dark background, soft music, whispering, the imagery, positive thoughts, brushing mic etc… everything is relaxing and makes you feel safe and calm so you can sleep. My eyes are heavy and I was almost asleep but forced myself to wake up and leave a comment. I’m going to restart the video now and close my eyes and just listen. I’m going back to that beach to fall asleep. Thank you.

I don't remember how long ago I started watching your videos exactly, but I think it was earlier this year with a recommendation for your video where you played John Snow, the Adventure Fantasy. I tend to watch personal care and hair brushing ASMR because I'm... well, lonely. I live in a pretty isolated area, and my social group is very small. I've also started to favor male ASMR creators ever since my dad passed away in 2020, I guess because I'm just craving a comforting male presence. Your videos especially have really helped me sleep since you have a very pleasant voice, you don't try to make it "sexy," and you include positive affirmation and platonic affection.
