Ok.. there is a whole story behind the song. Hope you read this. This movie was released in 1993 and this was the directional debut of Shankar, the director of movies such as 2.0, Enthiran, I, Anniyan etc. This song features Prabu Deva as well as his brother Raju Sundaram another renowned Dance Choreographer in India. He is the one in the red shirts. The red shirt is the uniform of the porters work in railway stations. More than a song it’s actually an important part of the movie where the Heroine of the movie accidentally gets to see the Hero in an unusual costume and eventually reveals that he is living a secret life as a thieve. On the last scene of the song you might have noticed a women in a Saree and guy with white suite and a cap. Those are the two characters. Interestingly there is a sequel to this song (ya.. sequel to the song!) in a different movie after almost 23 years. You have watched that song. Song called ‘Chalmaar’ from the movie ‘Devi’.

Actually this is not a Prabu Deva movie, the one with a cap is the hero (Arjun) of this movie. This is an intro song. First movie of Director Shankar. Great movie with a social message.

The porter who comes around 3:45 is in fact the elder brother of PrabhuDeva - Raju Sundaram. He has choreographed more than 10,000 songs I guess ( you know I am probably exaggerating the numbers, but he is very successful choreographer for almost 3 decades in Tamil industry) He had choreographed even in Telugu and other movie industries well. It's a pity that he couldn't get as popular as his younger sibling because of his lack of height and acting skills.
