Mine just arrived, for the large Sharpies and I love it. I have loads of them in all types and colours and it was a bugbear that I couldn't use them, especially for my scrapbooking. £18 well spent and thank you John for showing us this product.

Just spent an hour trying to make my Hi-tech black pen work in my new scan n cut universal pen holder, only to find out from you, that there are 2 pen holders and I have bought the large one. No wonder my pen falls straight through! Brother got me again! Anyway, I was most impressed by your video and I have just bought the Funprintz version. Thank you so much. I thought I had a broken my brother pen holder and I was about to wind a lot of masking tape around my pen to get it to fit! Your tips are much appreciated as I have an old CM900 which I don't use that much (I am a Silhouette Cameo lover). I thought I could use the machine for all my drawing and writing, so this should sort me out. Thanks again!

Great video about some great tools. I could never seem to get my Brother holder to grip the pen firmly enough to stop it slipping. No problem with these.

The first one can take the sharpie fine point markers too so I didn't need to buy the other one, it's great

Hi. These seem to be very good alternatives to the universal pen holder. Thanks for sharing. Towards the end of the video you mentioned adaptors for the foil quill for plotter machines. Now my question is, would that adaptor hold the Foil quill pens that calligraphers use to write with hands. Or do i need to but the quill set for scanncut? It wouldn be a great helpnif you could answer that. Buy these products are a huge investment for a beginner crafter like me. And I am looking forward to buying the sdx125e along with useful accessories. Thanks again in advace.

If it will fit, I imagine so but you'll need to be extra careful with getting depth and pressure correct.

I imagine you can insert them but they don't have the alignment gizmo which sets the pen at the appropriate angle.

This is a fabulous tool I love it but I have been trying to colour in images that I have drawn in my scanncut but I can’t find a pen that doesn’t bleed into other colours. Can you recommend anything that would work

Most pens will do this by their very nature. One tip that I can share however is to work light to dark when colouring in. So for example, colour in an area with a light colour and then outline in a dark colour. That way any mixing won't be as obvious.

In the UK, the government website offers advice about tax and import duties. Would this also be on something similar in the US? I note that the 3DFunPrintz website calculates tax and shipping for UK residents, perhaps try adding to your basket and seeing what happens during checkout before you make payment? Otherwise, perhaps drop a message to the team at 3DFunPrintz as they may be able to offer guidance based on other orders. Sorry I can't help more on this.
