4-10' 1/2" chains with 1 hook, 4- 2' chains with 1 hook, 2- 20' chains with 2 hooks, seldom use the 20'. 8- 1/2 " binders. Most of the time you can go from the track to the deck with just the binders. Take a few 3/8" chain and binders. Spare hooks and cotter pins. The 360 should be 60x 2,204 metric tons=132,000 pounds you need 66,000 pounds chain strength. 4 -3/8" grade 70 chains is 25,400 working load. 4-1/2" grade 70 chain is 45,200 pound working load. Move the machine forward or back a few inches till you can get 4- 1/2" binders on the tracks to the deck no chain. 4 x chains as you did and a 3/8" over the stick and your golden. When you use a strap, take the excess and roll it in a bigger loop than you did, open the binder, don't release it, slide the loop through the handle, pull one end of the loop through the loop on the other side of the handle, pull it tight and lock down the handle. Not being a know it all, just trying to save you time money and worry from experience.
@57guyro18 күн бұрын
hay with the straps you roll the excess up with the first round about 2" hole then you role up to the ratchet then pull the last loop up though the centre and over the outside of the loop and it will not need ziptyes and won't come undone

This guy is going to get someone killed or hurt real bad. You NEVER load a track machine with anything nearby like that silver car in case it were to slip off. We’ve seen what he let happen to that poor little dog and his son on his watch. This is a big machine and he should stick to hauling boats and cows. Stick to something you already know. He has no business hauling heavy equipment like this. It’s guys like him that puts a black eye on the industry. I can’t believe he actually said if the boom wants to come up, let it and if he were to be in an accident for the hoe to come off the trailer to save his trailer. WRONG ANSWER!!! If it were to come off the trailer it will do more damage than if it were to stay attached. If he thinks it’s going to save the trailer by dismounting itself, he is dead wrong and has absolutely no business hauling heavy equipment. I wonder if the DOT were watching this video what they would have to say.
