Guys, I'm fully aware Hawas released 2015 and Invictus Aqua officially in 2016. You could score bottles of Invictus Aqua in late 2015 if you had a plug. So while the argument could be made Hawas isn't a clone of Invictus Aqua, I think most people would agree it's a clone of Invictus at the least which released in 2013. Hawas has a bit more of a similarity to Invictus Aqua than Invictus though, which is why most people will just say it's an "Invictus Aqua" clone and leave it at that. Otherwise you have to spend a lot of time explaining the release dates and how it was likely an Invictus clone that ended up being closer to Invictus Aqua that was releasing close to the same time as Hawas and that it was a clone of one thing that ended up being a closer clone to another thing. See how it's easier to just say "Invictus Aqua" and be done with it? 😉

It smells great layered with ADG Absolu, it smooths it out and pushes the fruitiness, so you get great performance from the Hawas and better blending through the ADG. I can't wear one without the other now.

I feel like as a fragrance gets more popular, content creators dislike it more and that’s why something like flame gets better attention later not because it’s better but because it’s not as popular as the og but similar enough while being different enough. The replacement doesn’t always need to be a clone. Sometimes it hat you’re replacing shouldn’t even be cloned. I hate most fragrances so most of the time I’m replacing with same notes but completely different styles.

Let's be honest, the hype behind YSL Y EDP is because of Ash, he made the video about his most complimented fragrance and he said Y EDP was a surprising fragrance that got the most attention, when eveyone else was dismissing the Y line and calling it generic and boring. Then after ash who also liked Y and said the EDP was his most complimented and long lasting scent, eveyone began prasing it.

I still get compliments wearing Dior Sauvage. It’s not my go to but I keep in my collection. I have a range of colognes that are very expensive and some that are cheap.
