I have a soft spot for Hugo Boss. Hugo was my signature scent for 8 years. By that, I mean it was literally the only fragrance I owned for 8 years until I wisened up to seasonality 😅 Also, how disappointed was Ash that a flanker called, "Magnetic" had a click-on cap?

@logn7122 your reply made me reach for Hugo this evening. As much as I enjoy Boss Bottled and it's various flankers, as well as The Scent, Hugo still wins in my opinion. It's a perfect springtime fragrance but it's also nice in the summer and even late summer/early fall. I still laugh looking back at all the Christmas parties I wore it to up here in Canada. Did people even smell it? 😂

I have always loved Hugo Boss scents, they tend to sit really well on my skin so I'm always interested in a new one. Got my nose on this one last week, have to say another really strong addition to the lineup, one I will definitely be getting, I really enjoyed it. I still think Private Accord is my favorite so far but I have Le Parfum as well and really like that a lot too.

The only layering combo I do is the scent intense and Splendid Vanille from Alexandria. The vanilla and maninka smell great together. Excited to smell this one

30 minutes post-spray : It's a great fragrance, and definitely stands out. Love the balance of the fruit up top and the creamy down below. Hint of floral in the mix as well is quite nice. As far as vanilla bases go, however, I'm still on the Mercedes Benz Club Black honeymoon which is proving hard to beat ;)

After an year i got my bottle! Half price sales, i needed to try it. Sweet and powder vanilla with some fruit on it (manika or coconut) the open is the typical boss bottled, however the dry down is sweet, a little powdery, oak/ maninka and last at least on my skin over 12h. I believe it's a fragance for evenings and definitely not for summer (maybe to sweet)

It's worth it. I would always pass on smelling them and one random day I did. What an interesting smell maninka is. The scent is truly unique and I love them all. Favorite is absolute and the OG. I just picked up Magnetic and it's definitely a great release, very similar to the original to me but a little creamier and smooth.

This is my fav scent line so i picked it up soon after it was available here in the uk. I really like it a lot and others around me also like it. This could end up being my fav in the line eventually. It is being advertised on tv now so it may become a bit common for my liking for the next few months but it'll become uncommon eventually just the way i like it so i'll wear it more then. I’m sort of disappointed that my dad isn’t a big fan of “The Scent” line. He’s just adamant about using their original line with the twisty cap that has the nylon strap. Tried to ease him in onto different Hugo Boss scents because he likes that house best, but man the guy refuses to change

The original Hugo Man! ‘The Flask’ ‘The green one’ - If he only uses the OG Hugo Man you could try introducing him to the other ‘Flask’ flankers, ‘Just Different’ is nice, also, there’s an EDP Extreme of the original flask release.

I like the scent intense best of the ones I've tried, the original, absolute, private accord, I've not tried magnetic or the parfum yet but out of the ones i mentioned i like the intense best followed by the original in 2nd place I'm not a big fan of the other 2

I'm really liking vanilla powdery frags lately. And i like the bran note. I think it is going to take off. I'm getting ready to buy a bottle of Boss the Scent Manetic. But i'd like to see a comparison of this frag and Born in Roma Intense. I think many followers would also like to see this battle. Maybe Mercedes Benz Club Black could be thrown in as well. I am going to suggest this comparison with other critics in the frag community because i really am that curiouse to see what they conclude.

Personally I wouldn't; I'd say its autumn, winter, spring sort of scent, but a bit much for high summer. It's surprisingly strong, very long-lasting and with great projection. Overspray, and it becomes beast mode for five to six hours easily. Top quality fragrance!!

@@Userdb06 I have two or three summer scents that I think are top quality and ideal for hot weather. My favourite is Acqua di Gio Profondo, together with D&G Light Blue eau intense, and YSL Y EDP. Another nice summer scent would be Dylan Blue by Versace, while a slightly cheaper summer fragrance would be Azzaro Wanted or Missioni Wave.

I had this perfume and it was nice but to me the fragrance was to similar to the ones used for sunscreen. Coming from a country with warm weather this smell is too common so I gave away the perfume.
