Hey there, thanks for this video. I have to admit pre covid I was quite the follower of your channel and while I did try to limit myself, I tended to go a bit over board on ordering mostly the like 10 ml sizes but also some full size. Covid like for so many quickly took a toll financially, for me pretty quickly and needed to make major budget cuts and fragrances was likely the luxury that took the biggest hit. In hopes of not being tempted I even avoided several of the reviews channels especially through out the summer months. I have a friend who has gifted me a bottle of fragrance every year at the holidays and still wanted to do so this year. Knowing things have tight all around I thought I would go back and check my notes and the old videos for something not too expensive, when I came across your review of Musk Deer. While I think some of it for me is the packaging and so forth I did become quite interested in Zoologist. One of the first ones I tried was T. rex and at first application, just putting it on I thought eh no biggie, then maybe 20 minutes later it hit me hard with the variety of scents and had lasted pretty much all day. That evening I got a real nice compliment on it and while I do find it to be a bit overwhelming at times, because that friend liked it so much I got a couple of the 10 ml size. I had intended to get the full deluxe bottle but well you know how it goes. One of the things I discovered with several of the Zoologist is how much I really liked some of the ones with floral undertones, which I am not normally into that, but with every thing else going on in those I really liked them, with my favorites that I sampled being Panda, Moth and Dragon fly. I had hoped to try the original Dodo, but not so sure. I did get the very small sample of Bee with an order and that one really surprised me and it ranks high on my wish list from Zoologist, so my current order of my Zoologist wish list would be T. rex, Bee,Panda, Dragon fly and Moth. I do have to say I tend to rely on your reviews, I was and still am quite the novice. Thanks to your videos I have yet to get anything I really don’t like, besides Zoologist the Imaginary Authors and Parfums Vintage have been some of my favorites to dabble in the smaller mini sizes, again all three of these brands I credit you for introducing me to that brand or house and try to let them know each time I had ordered that I learned about them through your videos. Thanks!

I love zoologist!!! I have tried almost all of them as samplers but haven’t bought a full bottle because you know, niche. But I was able to buy a travel bottle of panda. Panda so far is my favorite. I haven’t tried deer but I will be ordering a sample once they open back up in January.

Since you posted yesterday I've been back and forth through the website looking at which one I would like to sample more. The Dodo or the Koala. I'm leaning more towards the Koala because of the menthol and eucalyptus. Thinking kind of a warmer weather scent for this Arizonas heat!

I have smelled some of the Zoologists. I most liked Civet of the ones I smelled, but Camel and Bee were also fantastic. I also tried Musk Deer but i found it to be too light , would have liked it more if it were more animalic. The quality of these fragrances was always fantastic. I'm rather impressed with this release. I like that it's more wearable & for me it even has just a slight old school musk vibe going into the mids, but with a modern twist. They knocked this one out of the park as far as what I personally like. Great review brah!

I love Hummingbird. It was the first bottle that got me into floral side of perfumery. I never have any interest in florals. When I first smell it I thought "I must have the bottle" so I seek out one. Took me about half a year to get a hold of the bottle because I live in Thailand. And it was expensive af. Somehow I never regret a single Baht paid for the bottle. My bottle of Musk Deer is on the way. I never smelled it but the notes are right up my alley. It will also be expensive for me. But Zoologist got my heart.

Commenting for the giveaway. I tried some samples of T-Rex and Squid and the new Bat last month and loved all of them. Squid won out as my favourite because it's sweet but fishy smell was something I never would have thought would come out of a bottle let alone be something I would want to wear. I am very keen to try Koala, partially out of a sense of national pride and also because eucalyptus and tea are notes I adore. I hope you get enough views to justify more indie reviews! It's great to hear you describe more challenging scents.

Hi Ash I'm a HUGE fan of Zoologist House , I own the complete sample set (but when I got mine the new Rhinoceros and Musk Deer where not release ) , I'm very curios to smell the Musk Deer and the new version of Rhino .
