I know, I know... but to date it has still been my most complimented fragrance of all time and I can't argue with that. It wouldn't be my first pick in a "Keep only 10 for life" list, maybe not even on the list at all, but it'd be the first frag I'd buy when starting over.

I have a very small collection at the moment. Out of what I have, I would order Gary's Den, Khamrah Qawha, and Detour Noir Exclusif again for a collection restart in a heartbeat. Those all lean colder weather... I don't know that I've fallen in love with a warmer weather fragrance just yet. Lucianno's Coastal Breeze is really close... just a hair under the must-have list.

All these dudes are hating for no reason. I smelled it back in 2017 at Ulta and was blown away. I never did pick it up, but it was so memorable that 7 years later in 2024 I remembered the name without having to Google it. It's a beautiful smell. I get my bottle tomorrow. A lot of people will say a frag doesn't last, but I also have aventus from a 2022 batch. Everyone said it lasted 3-4 hours. I put 2 sprays on my neck. 10 hours later after working in 90 degree weather outside I got a compliment from a co worker that was 3-4 feet away from me.

You mentioned Gucci Guilty Elixir several times. I would choose that to repurchase. I absolutely have been loving it. Any of the Dior Homme would have to be on the list. Tom Ford Costa Azzurra Parfum would be the 3 I would have to rush back out to repurchase. As a honorable mention, YSL Myslf would be another repurchase. It's legitimately another favorite that I can't explain exactly why I like it so much, but it's just pleasant in every way. ❤❤

It's the new version of DHI that came out in 2020, it's pretty close to the original DHI and its completely different to Dior Homme 2020 since it has the iris.

My nose is broken. I never understood DHI. It was a blind buy and I immediately regretted it. Terre d'hermes - clean scent, but my nose barely detects it after it opens. BDC - meh. Smells clean but isn't better than any designer offering to my nose. YSL la nuit de l'homme... OK after drydown but I would never reach for it. I know these are some of the sacred cows of fragrance lovers, but I don't like them.

Hello GentScents, TurtleOriginal here, off subject, but it really bothers me, how companies will have an unbelievable men’s cologne, then, either discontinue it or reformulate a masterpiece! It drives me nuts!! When I first started out with my interest in men’s colognes, I used to go to a place called, “Marshall’s.” This place was awesome back in the day; they’d have a certain table that was full of different cologne testers to try, and really discounted prices on sealed, new bottles. I remember buying the largest bottle of, “Curve Soul,” that is no longer made! I loved that scent, and wish I’d bought as many as i could!! I’m old now, (54), but the original green bottle Curve was my signature scent, but Curve, “Curve Soul,” was my special occasion/going out scent. I used to get the largest bottle, (3.4oz I believe), at Marshall’s, for $18!!! I’m not exaggerating here! Now you cannot find it, and the “Green Curve Scent,” is reformulated, and only lasts an hour if you’re lucky, and spay 10 times! This same thing is with the original, (Pink colored), “JOOP!” I remember back in the day, I’d put 4-5 blasts of JOOP on me before going out to the club/bar for a night out, and I’d have the scent, still on my clothes, even after a night amongst smoke from the smokers, before smoking was banned. Ash probably reaches for Dylan blue a lot so he doesn’t have to think about it … I think I would if I had that many 🤯 I separate mine into 2 batches. Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter. The out of season batch goes into storage.
