I purchased Star Men Nebula on Ash's recommendation because i also own Pure Malt and Pure Havane. The opening of Star Men does have a small hint of Pure Malt to it, but it is shortly lived, and the rest of the fragrance just goes off into the ether somewhere. And the somewhere is not close to anything that is Pure. I can promise you that. Maybe my nose is bad but to me, so is Star Men Nebula. Thanks Ash, I know, everybody's nose is different.

Yup. You are right. Star men nebula is trash and not close to the pure malt. That insurrection one is much closer.

All of these get better with some age. Without exception every clone I have and that's many get better over time. Some improve drastically. Sapil Bound is great clone or not. If you like Asad I'm sure you will like Bound

I'm in the UK and have six Pefume Parlour PDM clones. I also have samples of the same OG's. Having used both I will never pay the full markup for the OG. I think sometimes because some pay, in some cases 100s of dollars/pounds they convince themselves the OG's are far better when in truth they aren't. In some cases I think my pp pdm clones are nicer than the OG's.

Correct. I like to use the plain black t shirt analogy. Slap a tiny designer logo on it and charge an extra 100 what one are you going to say is better.

When it comes to Pegasus clone I will choose Alhambra Perseus over Armaf Craze. I think Craze is too strong in certain note that I don't like, while Perseus is more balanced and pleasing in my nose, reminds me of Prada Luna Rossa Sport with almond added

I own Dusk and it doesn't last super long, but it's decent. About 6-8 hrs on skin. I paid $40 for it. Smells like apple pie pretty much, but with a hint of a metallic/inky essence. Never smelled OG Layton but Dusk is a nice scent.

I find Fragrance Worlds Posh Malt a superior clone in every way to Star Man Nebula , and the extra $10 or so you will pay , is well worth it ! Imo, it is better blended and a much closer dupe ,

It's slightly better performing, and has a bit more of the top notes than Nebula. You can't go wrong with either, but Posh Malt is the better option.

Quick question. I received a sample of Lattafa Asad and after about 45-60 minutes it starting to remind of something else I own. Now 2 hrs later it's almost the same as Oud for Glory. Am I going crazy or is there something to this? Love the vid. Greetings from Netherland

Seems like you’re docking points from Oud Absolute Magnifique 7 because it’s not close to M7. I’ve never tried them but seems to me like M7 & M7 Oud Absolu are different fragrances. Perhaps Lattafa Masama is a clone of M7 while Magnificent 7 is a clone of M7 Oud Absolu. Seems like this is kinda like Invictus Aqua 16 vs ‘18 in the sense that they’re supposed to be the same but they’re truly different.

Better for the price point I think he says that. I’m pretty sure they are in my opinion. Clones are great for blind buys they are cheap and I try to get them 90% similar. Usually that 10% difference is in the opening. I assume because of quality

Clones will never smell identical to the real thing but should remind you of it. Take YSL M7, which i own and will guarantee to keep the bugs away. Problem is, it also keeps the people away. Hopefully that M7 clone is better.

My mrs brought me TF bitter peach a few Christmases ago … Initially I thought it was a bit … potpourri..ie . Long story short , it grew on me and i wore it all that summer and I went from …. Meh 🫤 to having an unhealthy addiction to it !! I was spraying it every time I walked past and that shhhh ain’t cheap !! I’d brought bright peach AND intense peach to stop me wasting the TF 😕 which only made matters worse !! As they’re so much jammier than the original !!
