Fully agree with the first two. Montblanc Explorer and Mugler Cologne are indeed the top two men's fragrances that come to mind for anyone whose taste I know nothing about. They are universally pleasant, work for absolutely all ocassions, pretty much incapable of offending any nose whatsoever. Other fragrances in that lot are not really that many. Maybe Bleu de Chanel, Caron pour un Homme de Caron, Molecule 01 (aka just Iso E Super,) and Molecule 02 (aka just Ambroxan).

I love Al Haramain Detour Noire and everything about it. Love the bottle design because it fits the hand perfectly for spraying. The letters don't come off my bottle no matter how I grip it. And the pressurized atomizer is amazing. One of the best fragrances I have in my collection. And so cheap. Cheers.

I got mine just recently... it smells very, very rough for the first 20 minutes or so. Like almost cowshed tier. Then it becomes nice. Is it meant to be this way?

Notes in Riqqa are, top notes Cognac , Middle notes cinnamon tonka bean and oak, Base notes. Praline Vanilla and Sandelwood...no dates

I’m hoping that my bottle of Detour Noir macerates, if that’s what the issue is…fingers crossed…but so far, I have to be real…my initial reaction to this hugely highly anticipated arrival of it, is definitely disappointing. I heard soooo much hype and really wanted to have this amazing PDM Layton clone more than anything, but can’t so far gets past the synthetic, cheap smelling initial spray. Haven’t hardly used it though, so a fair evaluation just isn’t there, but it for sure has not performed the way of say…my Lattafa Asad, which was gorgeous from spray one. Hopefully the drydown is much better

I recently bought khamrah, and i had high hopes for it. Truth is it just smells really bad, it smells like and old granma. I wouldn’t even call it a perfume, it’s unbearable and headache inducing. I don’t understand the hype. Maybe batchs are different, but for me it’s an awful alcoholic smell like cheap whiskey.
