Adding to Secretions Magnifiques intrigue was Luca Turin, a famous perfume critic, rating it a masterpiece in his book, Perfumes: The A-Z Guide, saying it is “an elegant fresh floral…given a demonic twist by a touch of a stupendous bilge note.” He found redemption in his subsequent book, Perfumes The Guide 2018, writing that he lived to regret the praise and would not make that mistake again.

Porsche actually did an Elysium back in the day. It was called the 924, more Volkswagen than Porsche because they wanted an entry level Porsche. It didn't work out. It's probably the most despised Porsche ever made. Even worse than the 914.

Biggest controversy: Creed stole the scent of Individuel and made Original Santal... In response: Mont Blanc took the scent from Aventus and made Explorer... Explorer has now out-sold Original Santal by 150 to 1 lol...

In the beginning, yes it's a great fragrance. After about 15 minutes, I start to become anosmic to almost the entire fragrance. I believe it's the mass amount of ISO E Super. I also think I'm allergic to something in fragrance as well, probably the ISO E..?? Anyone else?

You’d think I am lying when I say this lol. I went to a small privately owned fragrance boutique, that is specifically selling niche fragrances. Among many others, I asked to try Secretions Magnifique and the owner told me, this is their last bottle, because they have sold the rest. Now it’s either that people buy it for the novelty factor or there are truly some, that can’t get enough of it... Either way, it seems like they sell enough to keep making them.

If Creed can’t be honesr about their past, then I am not interested in their fragrances, and that’s the end of it. Second of all, Secretions Magnifique would not be as bad as it sounds, had it not been for its metallicy note that sweeps into your nose and remains there for at least half an hour. With it, pulls all the unpleasant notes that inevitably get amplified and that’s where the horror comes from. Otherwise, it would really not be that bad.
