Hallo ik heb een vraagje ik hoop dat je mij kan helpen. Ik heb deze ook op mijn motor maar ik wil nog alleen de knipperlichten ervan blijven gebruiken. Kan ik zomaar de kabels verwijderen van de dagrij verlichting/achterlichten? Zoja, welke kleur kabels dan precies. Sorry ben niet zo technisch maar wil het graag zelf doen :p

Hoi. In theorie heb je gelijk, het loskoppelen van de kabels van de achterlichten zou moeten werken. Helaas kan ik je niet helpen met de kleuren van de kabels omdat ik het simpelweg niet meer weet, ik heb deze motorfiets 6 jaar geleden verkocht.

Where did you get the oval spacers between the turn signal and the license plate frame?

Have you had problems with the LED afterwards? Mine right LED is glowing weak. 2-3 of the leds are very bad. I also got mine installed 2 years go in at a Yamaha dealer

Check all the connectors if you have OEM ones, there is always a problem.

It is accessory yamaha OEM Comfort seat, but it only looks nice, in fact, it is harder and uncomfortable than the factory one, the worst spent 250 euros ever 😉

Question: 7:49 "Position Light" I've never heard this term in brake or signal wiring. What exactly is the 'Position Light' wire for ?????? Pretty sure it's the 'Tail Light' wire ! Thanks.

If fitting to a 2015 on R1 leave the resistors off as they are already led, if you put the resistors in it does not work.

Można. Miałem oporniki, wstawiłem przerywacz do kierunków LED i oporniki wymontowałem. Działa tak jak powinno i trochę mniej śmieci poupychane za plastikami.

I have the same lights on a new machine now - i wonder if i can just use the rear brake lights without the position lights ... just brake lights and blinkers.. is that possible if i leave the blue wiring disconnected ?

Hey! Thanks so much for this video - really helpful! Just one quick question.. is there any reason why you don't add the resistors on the blinker-side of the connectors instead of cutting cables in the motorcycle? I'm pretty new to this so would prefer to not cut any cables on the bike.. :-)

You can install resistors on the blinker cables, but if you want to disassemble the blinkers later or the entire tail tiddy, you will not squeeze the resistors through the holes in the housing. cheers, ride safe.

No, at the front I did have regular led ones from yamaha, because of the day lights at the hanguards.
