I have my Atari 7800+ on pre-order and awaiting delivery any day now. However, I just found out (based on other unboxing vids) that Bentley Bear only comes with an instruction manual and cart sleeve. There is NO BOX included and this pisses me off to no end. I guess Atari feels they can fleece our pockets for another $30 to get a complete IN BOX experience. Anyway, thanks for the vid...🙂

With regards to Dropzone if we are going to get interviews they would need to be from the archives as unfortunately Archer MacLean passed away in December 2022. This is a release that I am looking forward to though, absolute classic even though I was always rubbish at it.

I preordered the 7800+ on Amazon right when it came up and it still hasn't shipped. They're saying Out of Stock. I hope it ships soon.

I got a message from Amazon Canada a couple of weeks ago saying it is delayed by a week or so, my new date says shipping December 5 and arriving December 9. Hopefully this helps.cheers

I will jump back into the atari ecosystem when the cost of carts drop dramatically or they put multiple games on a cart. I love Berzerk. I dont love it for $50 CAD.

I way prefer the gamestation pro: no cartridges, and you get controllers with paddle dials. Actually, none of these atari consoles are any "good" compared to something like a modified playstation classic. It's just that you can't play paddle games on the PS classic.

@Grunchy005 a modified playstation classic is trumped by a pc for emulation or one of the myriad of Chinese handhelds. The Gamestation Pro joystick is a Frankenstein's monster of a controller with bad button placement and a tiny dial. Everyone can like what they want and dislike what they want.

@Mechanicoid To be fair, PC and a Modified Playstation Classic are two completely different markets. Some folks would rather sit on their couch and grab a controller for that console experience, rather than slouch in a chair, their face close to the screen, and play games in a desktop environment. Different strokes for different folks.​ That last sentence you wrote sounded like you were gritting your teeth as you said it, might want to take it down a notch.
