CITO and maintenance! You are a geocaching hero :) That looks like a great spot for some caches!

+JamieLP3 (Stardustzzz) It does feel good to be a hero! :) The little park with the pond is a great place... but quite often crawling with muggles. I have a hard time keeping this one maintained. Those pine trees used to be really full and the branches all the way to the ground, but they trimmed them up about 6 feet so my container is pretty exposed. All around the pond, you can always find fishermen, so finding a spot closer to the pond is difficult. I may have to figure out something different to hide here some day, but for now, it is good to go! Thanks for watching and commenting Jamie :)

Great job on the maintenance and CITO. I can see why you like that spot, very pretty.

+Geohnny Cache Thanks :) Yeah, when I first started caching... this park didn't have a cache which gave me the room to hide my first multi-cache. Thanks for watching and commenting :)

+Cache Cave Thanks! And thanks for the challenge :) What a great idea. Looking forward to more in the future :)

There's actually a challenge cache here that in order to qualify you have to find caches names for all of the elements.

+kokohawk Then somebody around there must have a chemistry series too? I started the series as an "experiment" :) Wasn't sure the containers were going to hold up in the elements, but the system of having the log attached to the cork for easy removal has worked well and the containers usually last a year or more. I would have a lot more to hide before I cover the periodic table... but there are quite a few in the series. Thanks for watching and commenting!

Are you ok with me using a segment of this video for a GeoChallenge recap? Let me know.

Nice job on the maintenance! That test tube cache could be a harder difficulty rating if you made them retrieve it from the bottom of the pole. :)
@GeoDarick8 жыл бұрын
+Neil Moore (Geocacher Nelomo) You are right about that Neil. I think there are two or three test tubes down in the bottom of that pole now. I guess when they fill it up with tubes I won't have to do maintenance on this cache anymore ;) Happy caching!

Oh boy....I wonder how many cache containers are at the bottom of posts around the world. Seems to be a common problem. I have to admit that I have dropped a few myself. Nice job doing CITO. Did you submit anything for CachingKaity? Good luck with the contest, and thanks for sharing.

+scottinojaivideos (gsmX2) Thanks so much for always commenting on my videos, Scott... I really appreciate it :) I always watch your videos, but usually on my phone at night as I am going to sleep, so writing comments is harder. I have not submitted anything to Kaity yet. I will take a look at that... thanks again, happy caching!

How did you get the cache out from inside the sign ? I can imagine a few ideas I'd try
@GeoDarick8 жыл бұрын
+nintendolunchbox In this case, I didn't... the old one is still down there. I just replaced it with a new one. Thanks so much for watching and commenting on my video!
