He doesn’t want to watch the documentary because he lost three brothers and that’s why because he felt something inside of him he cannot just close you have to give this guy a break because he’s been a lot of trauma over the years losing his brothers and losing his mother losing his father and yeah

Love Geoff’s enthusiasm, it produced a great interview with a giant in music! They spoke as if they were great friends and I could have listened for another hour. Yes we all love Barry’s falsetto, but that depth of his voice gives me chills. I can listen over and over again to the beginning of Nights On Broadway when he belts out “here we are”, goosebumps. Awesome interview and I hope there’s a second one.

I’m obsessed at the moment! The documentary, the Greenfields album, has brought back the whole catalogue of The Bee Gees music which is the soundtrack of some of my most cherished memories. This was a great interview, Sir Barry as his usual humble self, and a book would be great!

I am so fortunate to have lived in the time of the Bee Gees. Barry always gives a good interview! He sounds so intelligent. The way he talks about music is so informative. I hope he continues making great music. He also has a great sense of humor! I love how he has been married for over 50 years with 5 children and 8 grandchildren.. I hope his book will come out soon. He has been writing it for 5 years now. I would like him to include some new songs amidst the older ones on his next album! I hope he will do some concerts as well!

I have Loved the Bee Gees since I was a teenie bopper so this makes me so happy.. Barry is such a kind and gentle soul... Was so glad to get Green Fields even though it made me cry happy tears... Such a legend in the music world , although they did not always get the credit they deserved.. Disco will always be a major part of my teen years because of the Bee Gees and Andy Gibb... I wish I had been able to see them in concert just once , but that is why we have albums ....

Barry Gibb u did great even though u lost all ur brothers but ur still performing even though u miss them so much like i miss my father ur son is so lucky to have a wonderful father like u he should be blessed to have time to spend with u cause i wish my father would spend time with his children when he was alive but he was only in to making money then taking care of his children u should be proud of having all ur children live near u u always have been my idol since i have been in highschool u inspire me and encourage me to move on with my schooling and u have been always there for me when i needed a friend

Barry would be a Great instructor at any learning institution in music progression. He has an incredible amount knowledge about how music developed over the decades. He could be an Honorary Professor and be awarded an Honorary Degree to teach!!!

The Bee Gees didn't know how to read music, yet they were masters at writing songs. They were blessed with creativity, spiritualism, romanticism and instinctive musical harmony. I have been a major fan of theirs for nearly 50 years. Although they have a huge following, I feel they really deserve more accolades than they have received from the music industry. They should be recognized & remembered for their musical impact and longevity just as Elvis, the Beatles, & Michael Jackson.

This is a great interview. Some fascinating info for those of is who were not into all the back ground info of their music. But, you did interrupt him several times when he was clearly going to say more. And I have always thought that Barry’s voice was very much like John Lennons. He stage stance was also the same. And for the record, I love Barry f’ing Gibb. Those skits were hilarious! British humor has nothing on Fallon and Timberlake.
