I adore your story of becoming a historian. I also want to be a historian but some say you need to write a book to qualify you as a historian. Is that true? Do I need to have a Ph.D to be one? During my college years, my professors and classmates used to call me historian because of being really good at remembering names, dates and events. I also am good at Geography and language( At my current work, they always tell me if I am a writer when I was college but never was I). Hope you can help me. I really appreciate your help. Thank you very much.

Being a historian is not reserved for people that write books. If you follow the history study at a university and complete it, you will be a proper historian.
