Toys R Us has been in extreme debt for about a decade and a half, before Amazon was the huge force it is today. Toys r us failed to adapt and compete with the likes of Wal-mart/Target when it comes to brick and mortar and yes, eventually Amazon. It is a sad situation, especially for all the people who will now be laid off, and I heard the majority receiving no severance.

Not funny. Actually very disrespectful! Walmart/Target has found a way to thrive despite Amazon’s success. Amazon while it has its role isn’t the reason Toys R Us died. Why not tell the real story how a bunch of greedy rich people came into the business when it was weak, forced a buy out, bleed it dry, loaded it with debt so large they couldn’t pay the stinking interest, then with declining merchandise, online sales option lacking because they had no money to spend on it, it had to close. It’s original model of a million toys at lowest pricing had not been the case since late 90s early aughts. It’s disgusting. It’s not just time brings change. It’s a series of bad decisions that allowed a predator to eat it to the bone. It’s sad.

Ugly Mofo Predator I know. I used to go there many times as a child, but in later years, it was too hard to go there. My mother used to drive me to the store, now she doesn't let me, even in my teens, she still thinks that I'm too older for going to toy stores. Even the last time I went, she got very impatient instead of going with her daughter and have a good time inside that great store. The store was too far to walk, it takes like more than 20 minutes to walk! There's not even a bus to take you there! I'm very saddened that these stores are shutting down, because I wouldn't be able to go to my favorite store with my own future car! Let's hope that the company would buy the business in Canada. Tell that to poor Geoffrey! It's the best place to stay and it's the most peaceful country in the world!

That fuzzy feeling, specially around christmas, when you wandered around wondering what you'd get. I mean, things change, and it's not a bad thing imo, but it's nice knowing that I had that 'privilege' of experiencing that feeling.
