@@KingofWarsaw-ed3ky I play most but honeslty my guy is 5’6 with max accel and speed so he slams into guys and gets injured for half the season and I just finish it off. But I do skip random cup games that I do not care about or sometimes I sim games with middle of the bracket teams. For bad teams I try and score as much as possible and for good teams I just try and win. If it’s an eh team I usually set a limit. For example: “ima score 3 goals and then I can sub out”. Or I just sub out at 45 minutes and then I only play half the game

I have gained interest in this league, and honestly, I would not considered a retirement league like before, but they still have issues in getting any top players interested in a league that has yet to be globally known, hopefully more major players from Europe head to the mls later in their later career (and especially to NYCFC 🗽🙃)

It never has been a retirement league, it only ever got that name because of the European players who came here. For the past, at least decade or more, I've been an avid MLS fan, especially for my local town FC. FC Dallas and I played through the youth system there as well. The thing that so many Europeans understand is that we continue to draw so much support from Latin America, specifically South America, to when I was back at my family's house in Peru, I was at a barber with a kid who said that his dream after being signed to a Peruvian professional team, was to play in the MLS. We have top players interested in our league, but they proved themselves in our league before going to Europe and proving themselves all over again. Honestly, I hope for less European retirements, and more exciting football from the young talents we bring in from around the world, that will give Europe a notice of how good of a league we actually are.

As a Mexican I always used to play the liga Mx which is pretty the same as mls. Things I didn’t like was that there’s no relegation. Another huge thing I hated was that there was no concacaf or libertadores. Preseason gets boring seeing the same mls teams. I wish they could add maybe just a few Central American teams to make it interesting. Mls always wants to play against mx teams but we as Mx fans don’t want to see Mx vs mls all the time it’s boring for us, we would rather see mx vs South American teams any day like back in the day. And maybe after we could send our second best teams vs mls

The whole retirement league thing is incredibly outdated and I see a lot of foreigners fighting to keep that the status quo (even though if you really cared about the sport you would support all leagues with positivity. (Imagine spreading your uninformed and ignorant opinions on like as if it has any positive affect on the world 🤡)). It’s not EPL it’s not La Liga (and not one is claiming it is) it’s MLS and it’s unique and it’s still the sport we love. It’s a league that is developing an insane amount of talent and getting big names, even one’s past their prime, gets more locals interested. That’s a win even now when most teams are selling out games and probably don’t need to bring in big names for the sake of drawing fans in.

Mls still isn't a top 20 league and wont ever be. The teams don't have real identities and everything feels generic as the uniforms do. The playing is stiff and players still dribble the ball with no fluidy and urgency. Physical yes, tactical no. Add regulation to give it a bigger natural organic spark and drop the designated players rule. It's time to take off the training wheels off the league and let it flourish and make the league start with the rest of the world.

I always get around to doing an MLS Career Mode each year with the club I support in Atlanta United, but as an American who wants to see the MLS CM seen improve, it needs Liga MX back and some of the other competitions like the CONCACAF Champions League and the Gold Cup. That would help so much since I tend to follow the superdraft and salary cap on fifa (would be nice to actually have a different mechanic in the game for that tho).

For the Superdraft; I sign 3 free agent generated players without scouting them, 2 Americans and 1 player from anywhere in the world (33% of drafter players are foreign, 67% American, 3 rounds in superdraft). This works perfectly and leaves you free to run a normal youth academy, which all MLS clubs now have

MLS is lame because of the reasons you've given in your video in regards relegation and first pick. Granted that most players would pick big clubs from the Premier League or any of the first division, but I find it most challenging picking a club from the lowest division to ascend to the top. The budget is limited, most of your players are old and on a loan and when you get promoted there's a great feeling of satisfaction. I played career with LA Galaxy twice and got bored. First chance I had to leave to another league, I took it without a single thought. I wish FIFA had the First and second division of Brazil, like PES 2021. Now that's challenging as hell!

Love how you did this video but unfortunately you completely miss explained the MLS draft. Every team still has an academy like every team in Europe does and all around the world. If those teams develop the best young talent like FC Dallas does year after year for the MLS, then we continue to have a good team. Even though with a majority of our team is through our young talent. We simply draft the best out of college, not the best youth. I think that is a very massive misconception that Europe doesn't understand. I did the MLS. Cup as like a starter course for F23 with Portland Timbers and as a total novice-amateur is probably the most fun i think I’ve ever had playing FIFA in yrs sure some players felt like walking in treacle for the first few games but that then switch’s up your skill set for tactical gameplay and skill plays, so after I’m dun on my current career which is a tough as nails L2 side I will take up ur advice 🎉 once I’ve taken the amazing Crawley Town to their first ever CL win 🏆 😢hehe

Like Bundesliga is for Bayern, La liga is for only Barcelona, Real madrid/atletic, EPL for Big 6 clubs, ligue 1 for PSG .. majority in Europe clubs are no chance in to be champion....

Have to respectfully disagree here. I actually think MLS is one of the WORST leagues to play as, because EA simply haven't bothered to add the things which are the most important aspects of the league, and which would actually make it interesting to play (ie draft, salary cap, designated players etc as you mention in this vid). I think it's very poor that they never added these, and we shouldn't be having to mod or some up with makeshift ways of doing it ourselves. It's the same situation as the A-League. Seeing as there's no salary cap and no foreigner limits in FIFA- it's simply not worth playing.

A 34 game regular season then another potential eight games to win the bloody thing plus no continental club competition as EA didn’t get the rights to the Liga MX. I tried a few DC united seasons and I just thought it was a slog. I preferred the Argentine league.

Hey man. I have a question. When I go and try to start a career mode, I always turn off the first transfer window because I like to keep the first season realistic. But this year when I do this the first transfer window is still open and transfers are happening right away. I've tried a few times now. Is this a bug or am I dumb for missing something.

Are you doing a mls save? If so your not doing nothing wrong, it just doesnt work with mls for some damn reason shit is so annoying drives me insane. Im same as you i want it realistic just doesnt seem possible.

The feature you can turn on or off is ‘Disable first summer transfer window’. In MLS, you start in winter so that transfer window remains open, but the summer one will be closed.

I love the mls. Also a very underrated spot to start a player career. Also since mls season ends in the middle of a european season you can win mls league and cup then transfer to a earopean team the same season and in theory win another league and cup and champions league all in the same season. So you get mega upgrades to your player for just 1 season of your player career.

I think the states are trying to be like England with names haha. We used to have two divisions for our second tier, USL and NASL. Now they combined and we have usl championship. Also now we have usl 1 and usl 2
