GEOGRAPHICAL TIME SCALE (Part-1)

Geographical Time Scale is the chronology of history of the Earth revealed by its rocks and fossils. Part-1 of the video covers up to carboniferous period in geographical time. You will know how Earth started its journey from Ball of Fire to present day world. It covers Accumulation of Oxygen, Beginning of life, Precambrian Glaciations, Cambrian Explosion and many more things. Part 2 will cover rest of Geographical Time Scale.

Sir, I request you to make a video explaining Geological Time Scale as given in the CBSE class XI NCERT textbook Fundamentals of Physical Geography, Chapter 2, 1st edition March 2006, reprinted 2017. e.g. it says first fish appeared in the Ordovician period. Other information at variance shall be conclusively settled by you and help clear doubts in the minds of aspirants just as you clarified regarding the formation and development of the Himalayas. Further, you may bring any wrong information to the notice of the NCERT for correction. It will be a great contribution to the student community by you.
