BSF is a border guarding force established 1,1965.Its primary role is to guard India's international borders with Pakistan and Bangladesh during peacetime and prevent transborder crime,the BSF has trained supported and formed a part of "mukti vahini".It also play important role in Liberation of Bangladesh. -Role of BSF during peacetime 1 To promote sense of security among the people living in the border areas. 2To prevent trans-border crimes, unauthorised entry into or exit from the territory of india. 3 Anti-infilteration duties 4 To collect transborder intelligence -Role in time of war 1Holding ground in assigned sectors. 2 maintenance of law and order in enemy territory administered under the Army's control. 3 Acting as guides to the army in border areas 4 performing special tasks connected with intelligence, including raids. #NSG-National security guard Nsg is a special force set up in 1984.as a federal contingency deployment forc that has primarily been utilised for counter terrorism activities and was created by the cabinet Secretariat under the national security guard act of the indian parliament in 1986. #NSG's specific goals: 1 neutralisation of terrorist threats. 2 handling hijacking situation in air and on land. 3 Bomb disposal amd neutralisation of IEDs. 4 Engaging and neutralising terrorists in specific situation. 5 Hostage rescue.

Bsf was formed in dec 1965 when pakistan attacked on sardar post or near gujarat. Before BSF the state armed police battalion was on the indo pakistan border. The K F rustamji was the founder. Also they are on the India-Bangladesh border, help in Anti- naxal operations and many more. Also,they are the first who reach to the disaster area near the border. And NSG was founded on 22 September 1986 under the National Security Guard Act, 1986, following Operation Blue Star, the Golden Temple attack and the assassination of Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, "for combating terrorist activities and protect states against internal disturbances".

Bsf was formed in 1965 by the indira gandhi government. After the war of 1965 with pak. India needs a one specific force to be deployed on indo pak border. Its first director general was khusro faramurz rustamji.

F. Rustamji was the first chief and the founding father of the organization. 4- BSF under the ministry of Home affairs. 5- it also has an air wing, marine Wing, commando units and artillery regiments. 6-Present head is Rakesh Asthana Motto- "Jeevan Paryant Kartavya" 📌NSG formation - 1986 1-NSG comes under the Ministry of Home affair. 2-Function of NSG- VIP security, counter hijacking tasks, post blast investigation etc. Jai Hind sir ji 🙏🇮🇳

BSF was established in 1/12/1965. After the 1965 war with Pak for the protect Indian border which connects with Pakistan,The first DG of BSF was KF Rustam ji, BSF only the CAPF force which hv his own Arty, Air Wing and water Wing. Indian's first female combat officer AC Tanushree parik also from BSF. Only BSF, which hv One Mahaveer Chakra given to AC RK Wadhwa for the 1971 war. Now bsf is deployed in Pak and Bangladesh border.

BSF Form in 1965 because INDIA felt there need to be dedicated force for the india Pakistan border because can not deploy army on border as a first line of defence. Also before it was maintained by state police and army but there was no proper connection between them and it was showing many conflict like situation . That’s y BSF formed .
