Jack, for future reference: the blue and red highway signs for the us are interstates and are different from the black and white ones that are just us highways. Interstates are much larger lane roads, us highways are generally smaller lane roads. Interstates are also referred to as I-(insert number here) while highways are US-(insert number here). Also: even numbered roads always go East to west, and odd numbered roads always go north to south. Don’t know if that’s just a us thing but thats how they’re typically numbered

In the US we have several types of highways; state, county, interstate, and US. Each has a different logo to tell you what it is and there is overlapping in numbers.

Queen Bee if you learn the system its not that confusing. Especially when you learn the history of it all. Routes, state and county roads are the oldest being from the advent of cars and all that. Then as cars got faster you got state and US. highways. And finally after WWll with Eisenhower’s election he implemented the interstate system based on Germany’s efficient autobahns. Even numbered routes go east-west. Odd number routes go north-south, and triple digit routed indicate bypasses or spurs.(thanks to sheldon on the big bang theory for that one)

I vaguely know what Russian kinda looks like off the top of my head but I can't remember ever being shown what Polish looks like so I feel like maybe I could if given a chance to look at examples of both of them first... Idk I'm under estimating how close they look or overestimating my ability to pick up on the differences tho
