"Guys, that was totally it" is my Happy Phrase, it just brings me peace and happiness when I hear it.

Same! It’s strangely satisfying to hear those words.

When you said unlikely source, and I saw the graffities, this was immediately my gut feeling, but I only noticed those in the distance, so I was like: nooo way you will decipher those. And then came DNS :D Nice catch as always!

Zooming into Street View, the yellow tower sure looks like an emergency warning siren, but couldn't find anything that was an exact match.

Someone on TikTok is telling me that, too

By the way, those number signs are distance markers. In this example, "0 4" means it's 400 m from the start of the tracks, so presumably from "Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof" (QFF H). These are placed every 200 m along the tracks (so the bottom number is always even). Looking at Openrailwaymap, I think they might be on the Kinzigtalbahn (route number 3600), track 238, departing from platform 8, towards Würzburg, Munich, or the like. Might be an ICE but I'm not sure.

Have i ever mentioned the fact that I love that on your map, it links the video in which you found that location? super glad you didn't leave us hanging

Thanks - I also try to make sure the original video is linked here in the YT descriptions!

That tower looks like an Air Raid siren, but it's slightly different from the models I'm used to

I totally thought the entire video was taken in Black & White. Anyhow... getting Germany from that was impressive for sure. I thought northern Europe, but wouldn't have narrowed it down to Germany.

Even without the graffiti I don't think it would be too difficult. The style of train tracks and the style buildings nearby limits it to France, Germany and Switzerland. Red trains = Germany. And then only a couple of cities have that many tracks on the central station approach but you'd have to check each one

Have fun checking each city 😝
