It is not disputed in any way. Safed is a part of the sovereign nation of Israel, who is a UN member.

This isn't the first time I've needed to mention Safed in a video, and please believe that I have tried several times to figure out a way to talk about it that doesn't draw criticism from someone. However, I've tried a few different approaches, but no matter what I say, I seem to get angry comments about it. I'm really just trying to acknowledge the disagreement that exists. I assure you that there are people who are willing to argue with you about this - I'm just not one of them.

@josemonkey the only approach is the truth. Safed is a city in the UN recognized country of Israel. Many people would want Israel to not exist, and well... okay. But the fact of the matter is that Israel does exist, is a member of the UN, and Safed is a city in it. By giving up facts in order to avoid some trolls on the internet, you're perpetuating a post-truth environment where yelling the loudest makes you right. Which it doesn't. I mean some people think the US should not exist. Never seen you stipulate your findings in that country.
