We dive deep into the very rich geology of Gold deposits of the infamous Black mountains of Oatman Arizon which sits on the equally famous Route ^^. This is a companion video to the Geology of Gold deposits and the formation. We know this is gonna blow them pants off so smash that like button and Sub if you are not already.

Hea Jeff since i know your a history buff and might make a great vid may check out your area star forts to look at remains gonna need a drone as miles across. DutchSense covers some and JohnLevi covers in detail. Question for you and slim is who built the advanced massive structures and why??? Why no archeological studies being done and rarely mentioned in history? Just something to ponder!🤔 Keep up the great work and stock up on them there beans. Lol

When I was younger me and a good friend used to drive out to the desert and find old ghost towns and mines, it was the search for the golden monkey. We never found the golden monkey but we did pick up alot of crystals and pyrite, and beautiful minerals. Your videos remind me of that, it makes me want to polish up the car and drive out there again! Here in Utah we have fossils and gems and all kinds of cool stuff like that. Gosh you know so much about the science I can't get enough of hearing you explain it all. Fascinating stuff, Jeff!

Hey Jeff, I love your videos like this. YOU are a goldmine of information. I have to say that I believe that the only reason the government seals off or fills in old mines is they know there is a lot more precious metals left in that mine. Public safety has nothing to do with it, prime example is the mine/pit you referred to as the ant hill. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

Wonderful information. I was on a nature trail at my work and found a narrow stream with nothing but jagged stones and pebbles. I spotted one roundish rock about the size of my fist. I noted that this looked incredibly out of place, and I was right! It was the stone part of a Indian "Tommy Hawk". I didn't know that at the time, I just put the stone in my pocket. I put the stone next to my TV when I got home. The very next afternoon, the sun was shining on it and I could see a "V" shape markings on the stone and it has the same markings on the other side. The darker stains were from the leather straps that held the stone to its handle. I feel pretty good about the find; a 20 minute trip into the woods landed me a piece of history. Thank you for your videos.

Jeff and Lila this year will strike it rich! That's right! This year! Jeff is working a mine that is very promising! I have been watching a lot of metal detecting videos lately! When I get depressed watching 'treasure' being can slaw, rusty nails, bottle caps, I find my way on the internet to Arizona! There are several in Arizona that make lucrative finds! I love watching those that find 'treasure'! Perhaps, I will find treasure here in south central Illinois. Some of the rivers here supposedly have small amounts of gold. There is possibly a couple other States there are gold to metal detect? Australia? Those earthquakes lately may play a significant role in opening up possible prospecting? I always learn from Jeff. Thanks for the video.

What a marvellous way to end my Monday. After being busy with a saw, shovel and crowbar during the day, to now be sat on my bed, sewing up the holes in my dog's soft toys whilst watching and learning a heap load of stuff about geology & the story of Oatman. I couldn't be happier 😊 Fascinating & very interesting lesson. Thank you Jeff. Living in the UK this may probably sound a silly question to you, but if I was there exploring, and found a lovely piece of quartz, would I be allowed to put it in my pocket and keep it? Another quick question please, why do you call the donkey's Burros? Absolutely love the fact that Lila joins you on all your explores. Some women would be "Oh no, I can't possibly do that." Not me, I'd be like Lila and join in! You guys are great. Thanks again. Take care and stay safe over there.

I went to the Quartzite, AZ gold show in Feb. 10 - 12, 2023. When traveling through Pheonix, AZ it took 3 hours to travel 30 miles, so on the way home to Farmington, NM, I traveled north through Parker/Bull Frog City to connect to I - 40. Dowsing while driving I could faintly pick up the entire Oatman gold magnetic field, meaning the area is rich in gold deposits. This coming late fall I plan on camping and dowsing out the entire Oatman gold fields with dowsing for undiscovered gold veins and gold placer deposits. If already claimed, I will search for and notify the current claim owner of the dowsed gold potential. Also, this will allow myself to join the gold prospecting clubs with the best placer gold deposits.

Great video brother. So I was out in Quartzsite the weekend of the gold show and a friend took me to a roadrunner claim there were massive chunks of quartz and then came up to a mound of quartz were it looks as if someone had blasted it as it was split and shattered so we metal detected I had the new AXIOM and he was using a gm 1000 first I have to say it's so clean out there no trash, I found a tak and then 2 pieces of lead he found 1) .4gram nugget Aptos we have just drywashed in that area or keep trying the metal detecting. It just looked like the perfect spot figured I'd find more little targets than I did

I live in Australia and I've been out down in the hills were the dirt is dark red clay, highly mineralised but there is huge amounts of mineralised cinnabar everywhere. Since gold and cinnabar come from the epithermal depths my question is... Is cinnabar a small sign of gold may be in the area?
