At 31:15, as to the area shaded dark orange, I've seen this diagram before, and my notes [fwiw] say "The darker orange areas are juvenile orogens, i.e., places where compressive tectonics at convergent plate boundaries are producing deformation, hills, and young mountain ranges. They are composed of the material between the island arcs, i.e., sea floor crust and sediments deposited thereon."
