How long did this project take and another silly question. How long do you let the paint dry between layers. I love your work

John, usually takes a blow dryer, to speed up the drying process, as far as the project length I’m not entirely sure, but if I had to guess maybe 2-3 hours?! I don’t know! Hope this helps!!!!❤️

Great painting. I have a question, what kind of magenta/pink is that, what company, liquitex, amsterdam or did you mix it, and when wich colors do you mix? That magenta or pink is great! I hope that you answer me this question because I search for a color like that for long! Thank you

In my (limited) experience... quinacridone magenta- almost any brand, mixed with a bit of white- makes a great hot pink. 😁

Don't forget to put a first layer of white painting before the pink layer, in order to have the pink really pink and not "transparent"

@@streetartavenue8656 thanks for the tip, yes I do that always, but I don't find that kind of Pink and I did't manage to mix it till now. I found it in spray paint but never in acrylic :(

When I peel the tape, the paint next to the tape peels off and comes up with the tape. Does anyone know how to prevent this?

Let your paint dry longer..also buy green or blue paint tape...the more expensive the better

John, why do you use 2 layers of masking tape? At first i thought maybe to prevent color bleed along the edge but i noticed the tapes are not always perfectly aligned. Your edges are almost always clean, no bleed and i don't see usage of acrylic medium for sealing... Nice Work(s).

Use good quality tape and press lil hard. Also use thick paint (nonbleeding)
