Continuing on with this geometric style Pineneedle Basket. Part four shows how I ran out of thread midway through the same color block. It shows how to add a new thread midway through the same color block. It’s basically the same concept as adding a new thread.
Again it’s easiest to use about one arms length of thread while coiling. I normally use two arms length, but with this design and having to carry the threads it’s easier to use one arms length of thread.
It’s a slow process, take your time, remember to add Pineneedles to keep it the same thickness, take a breather and have patience.
I also mention problems with the brightness of the white Thread. I think working with the black and the white it gives the white a bit of a dinginess. It’s OK it’s still looks great! Although I wouldn’t use white thread with black needles. It may rub off and create a real dingy look. Thanks for watching!
