Pano po ang solution kung ang hinahanap is sum of the first 5 terms if the third term is 144 and the sixth term is 456?

you can use po ang formula at 4:18, to find the value of r given the m,n, am, an which are un 3rd and 6th terms. With that, you can now solve for a1 (the first term), na sya naman pong gagamitin sa pagkuha ng sum of 1st 5 terms.

For example. The original GP is: A. 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256 Tapos sabi "terms are selected at intervals", example naman, from orig GP letter A, kunin natin si 2, tapos maglampas ng isang term, kaya 8 ang next, tapos ganon ulet, lampas ng isa, 32 ang next. Ganito magiging itsura ng GP: B. 2, 8, 32, 128 Pwede rin naman tig dalawa un lalampasan (it is up to you) from orig GP A. Una si 2, lampasan un dalawa, kaya 16 next, tapos lampas ulet dalawa, 128 na ang next. Kaya un GP C: 2, 16, 128, .... Isummarize naten un GP A, B at C A. 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256 B. 2, 8, 32, 128 C. 2, 16, 128 And ang characteristic ng GP diba ay mayroong common ratio (which is pag pinagdivide mo un magkatabing number, pareparehas ang answer) Sa: A. Pareparehas na 2 ang answer kapag nagdivide ka ng mga magkakatabi B. Pareparehas na 4 C. Pareparehas na 8 That is the principle na sinasabi ng question mo. Nananatiling may common ratio (pareparehas un answer kapag pinagdivide un magkakatabi) which is tge reason kaya nananatiling Geometric progression

Hindi po pwede magkaroon ng 0 na common ratio. example the first term is 4. Kung gagamit ng 0 na common ratio, magiging 4,0,0,0... ang series and this is not a geometric progression. (www.educationise.com/post/geometric-sequence#:~:text=Geometric%20sequence%20is%20a%20series,is%20known%20as%20common%20ratio.) for further reading. 2. Hindi pwedeng maging term sa geometric series ang 0. Ang term na zero, kahit saan mo pa sya ilagay, will result a series of zeros kapag nagmultiply ng ratio.

Pano po pag ganto? A culture of bacteria doubles in size every 2 h. If there are 500 bacteria at the beginning, how many bacteria will there be after 24 h?

You may create a table expressing the amount of bacteria every after 2 hours. 500 @ t=0, 1000 @ t=2, 2000 @ t=4, hanggang sa maging 24 hours. At mapapansin mo kapag umabot ka sa 24th hour, makakabuo ka ng 13 terms. Meaning, using Geometric Progression, 1st term mo ang 500, 2nd term mo ang 1000 at 13th term ang hinahanap.

@@christiancyrusclasin2343 kapag tinuloy natin ang table Time : Amount 0 : 500 2 : 1000 4 : 2000 ... ... 22 : 1024000 24 : 2048000 I hope same tayo. Kung gagamitin mo ang 500 as your first term. 13th term dapat ang hinahanap mo. Kasi bilang ang time = 0. Un table un magbibigay linaw. Thanks
