You see, there's a trend about people complaining new shit. When UltraSonic came out, totally different from Supersonic, no one said anything. BUT when HyperSonic came out, people complain about its "generic", "not sticking to old theme", "changes the community into a bad path", when clearly they're the one who changes, not the damn game. When was the term Generic created? 2.1. When was every good player got blamed for 144Hz? 2.1. (Tho it existed all the way back to 1.9) When was people start complaining about the nerfs in extreme demons? You guessed it, 2.1. When was people complaining about the community "toxicity"? 2.1. When was new updates being called shit? 2.1 AND 2.0. They put their expectations into a level that they can't do it themselves, so everything new is shit.

Except, the term generic started to be used in 2.0 (particularly with Adiale), and people called the community toxic in 2.0, and complaining about nerfs in 2.0 (particularly Yatagarasu), and people called out 144 hz players in 2.0 as well. You are right besides that though, people need to stop hating on every new level, player, and development in the game, because it's getting old now. As for the community, it IS getting more toxic because it's getting bigger, and like every game, the bigger the community, the more toxic it gets. Look at Minecraft, started small, with a small community, EXPLODED into popularity, and all people can complain about are the 9 year olds that play the game and the new updates. See a pattern here? Geometry Dash is becoming the Minecraft community, and if people don't stop mindlessly hating on things and people, we are screwed.

Cool video, I like your opinion on the series and I do mostly agree with it. For some reason, I don't understand what people are saying about the 2.1 sonic levels not fitting in with the 1.9 ones. Super and Ultra sonic seem pretty similar to each other, though they are both very memorable, and do have a large amount of differences. HyperSonic seems to be a 2.1 echo of the Sonic series as well, and although the song doesn't have the same feel as the 2 F-777 songs used before, it's still pretty awesome and fast, so it fits in with the series. There are some obvious similarities to super and ultra sonic parts to hypersonic parts as well, such as the ball maze or GGBoy's ultrasonic part and Rustam's Hypersonic part. SubSonic definitely fits in with the series in every way (Except for TheDevon's part), from decoration to song choice. While Hypersonic is an overall great demon, SubSonic seems to be a mix of the very best and the very worst. Funnily enough though, the worst parts in SubSonic (Evasium's part and Sumsar's part) were also the ones that fit in with the series the best. Also, both HyperSonic and SubSonic (Except for TheDevon's Subsonic part, which while being pretty good also doesn't fit in at all with the rest of the level.) have a consistent theme throughout the levels, almost as if one creator made them instead of a whole bunch. Overall I can't wait for the next Sonic level, and I also can't wait for the next thoughts on vid :D (I already watched the Digital Descent one lol). Maybe next do a thoughts on on the travel series? I know you already did Lonely Travel, but now there's 5 more, which are all amazing in their own ways. (Except for Neverending travel, which is just a boring laggy mess that overuses the same effects and has little detail. I didn't even consider it a travel level when it came out because it's 5 min 30 seconds long, untill Melodic travel came out, which is a much better level, but is also 5 min 30 seconds long)

I've beaten all Sonic Levels except for Subsonic which I have 88% on. I think that it's pretty harsh to call subsonic boring when a lot of the gameplay is unique and flows really well with the music. Also, Viprins part in Subsonic is actually easier and less annoying than the one in Hypersonic, and I guess it's kind of different because the blocks in viprins part dont move in hypersonic but they move in subsonic.

Hypersonic is a great level, but it's too slow and doesn't feel like a sonic level in my opinion. If you search up the beats per minute in the songs Hypersonics is like 100 bpm and Subsonic is like 175 bpm. It's all down to opinion and I respect yours but in my opinion Subsonic is the best sonic level. Anyway great video! :)

The problem with hypersonic is that it's not a sonic level its a featured demon that has sonic in the name there's already a rant on it so I won't say nuch more about it but mainly the song and gameplay is what ruins it about subsonic the level imo is better than hypersonic since it goes by the sonic formula but it felt rushed and had missed potential especially the end it was very anti climatic. Overall great video
