I’ll be honest, I’ve been on and off with GD for a couple years but I was NOT going to miss the 10 year anniversary of this game. 2.1 came out when I was starting middle school and I am now starting college in a few days. Watching this live was absolutely amazing. The incredible animation, banger music, and nostalgic throwbacks to bosses paired with an October release date for 2.2 has me INSANELY HYPED!!!! As far as I can tell, the bulk of the work on the animation overall was done by Rafer, Lchavasse, and Viprin. Rafer for the visuals, Lchavasse for the music and sound effects, and Viprin for some direction I believe.

The 10 year anniversary video for Geometry Dash will go down in history as one of the best tributes to a game ever. He started in fall 2022, but progress was a little slow at first. From December 2022 all the way to the first week of August 2023, he worked pretty much nonstop, so it was 8 months of very hard work. I think it shows in the amazing quality 🔥
