Well done! But this is not that self-explanatory - with only two controls, how can you go left, right, stand still and jump? I suppose jump is using both controls at the same time?

Yep. The level has a tutorial section where it is explained (if I remember correctly). The idea is that pressing both buttons at any point makes you jump, even if one was already pressed - then you jump in motion.
