Eric I compleatly understand the pain when you go in normal mode and don't do well like you do in practise mode on certain parts. It happens to me a lot, especially now that I am attempting to beat Supersonic. ATTEMPTING to beat it (cause you mentioned it in one of your videos so I thought "let's give it a try"). I am mainly trying to beat it cause you mentioned the beggining was easy but the middle hard. The thing with me is I go through the beggining without peoblems in practise mode but as soon as I go to normal mode my mind starts thinking stuff like "how am I gonna beat this shit, this is supersonic it's hard" and start failing at the dummest parts (mainly the ball part before the second wave). Now, I got 51% on Supersonic, which is nothing to brag about since that is literaly right before the main part of the level but under the conditions I am playing GD I am proud, even tho I am closing in on 5000 attempts already (I play on my laptop and the mouse pad that comes on it, it has a button and I have to use it so that I don't create too much noise since it annoys my family members, rip normal mouse controls for GD). And on top of that most of the time there is a lot of noise around the house so there is also that to ruin my concentration...
