These tracks have that harmony and airness to them that just works, but they would be nothing without the occasional reverb piano and absolutely legendary saw riser/lead. Simple and monophonic but never boring, high-pitched but never painful, I don't know how you always pull it off. It just works. Geoplex rythmed the years of a boring teen who only listened to the music she heard in intros or on the background of Minecraft KZbin videos, and very likely shaped my enthusiasm for electronic music and DnB in the process. Shuffling through playlists, I rarely ever skip one of the songs from the very first artist whose art I identified myself to, no matter how old or new. But the older ones certainly hold a special place in my heart, as I gaze at my laptop's wallpaper, still decorated with Comicspark's From Nothing. Cheers, and to another decade of music 🧡
