geoguesser is a very good competition game to watch, even more because you can actual learn a bit from it and it is so easy to understand the rules and the skills of the player, only downside there is no teamplay.

There is team play, but you don’t see it in this World Cup and for a reason. Hopefully within the next year, the game designers can update the Team Duels mode to be more complex and interesting than just “more people hedging guesses makes the results mostly luck-based when the best pros play each other”. It would be even better if they could somehow promote the evolution of offense and defense in the game. Right now, offense and defense are literally the same thing: guess your best and you either take off damage from your opponent or limit their damage on you. But it would be so cool if we can have some sort of defensive specialist and offensive specialist 2v2, or potentially even more players and “formations”.

You can set up team matches - most of the tourneys held by Rainbolt are team based. I liked the singles version for the World Cup, but there’s hours and hours of fun team-based tournaments on Rainbolt’s channel.

I mean doing something like (4780-3836)*3.5 and subtracting it from the losing player’s current health of 3500.. it’s not the easiest thing to do in the 1 second between showing the individual scores and calculating the penalty. I guess you might mean the faction of a second AFTER out calculates the penalty but before it hits the player as damage… that’s a simple > or < comparison 😅
