My goodness. This song reminds me the secondary school times when my older friends were told off for singing this song within the school corridors. Looking back, it's like I left so many years go away, unaware they were "fast, slipping through my fingers". How I would like which isn't possible anymore to meet them and peacefully listen again together, I'm sure with the same positive comments. I was born in '78 and while listening to pop as kid (and my parents their music) I loved both dance music but also collected those Tour of Duty cassettes with music from the 50s and 60s which had great hits. The 80s to me is more the rise of Superstars like Michael Jackson, Madonna, Prince, Michael Jackson, Elton John etc. But when I was about 13, my friends and me had a new favo music: Hardcore (the house music style, not with guitars) which originated here in Rotterdam early 90s till end 90s.) So while not the best music made, it is the period I have most memories about when it comes to music. In general I love all music, from classical to new age or hardcore to acoustic. What I don't like, in general, is Jazz music. I do like some light jazz and popular tracks, but not the very busy tracks. I don't know why. Oh, and I don't like dubstep. Both genres have a distorted rhythm I guess.

When listening to this classic you can really feel what you felt as a child when this song came out. I am happy about the beautiful childhood that you had with real music in the 70s.
