I'm 54 years old and I remember singing this song in school. We sang it in music class. I was in 4th grade and I went to a predominantly Hispanic school so it was what we sang to introduce us to Spanish as well as introduce the Hispanic kids to English. Wow, that was over 40 years ago.

I remember when this song first aired in 1975, I was 23 years old. I never stopped listening to this song. Has so much beauty to the song. I am now 69 yrs old and still enjoy the song. I think Goorge Baker has a great voice.

+Sean Bebington I am 46 and music like this reminds me of my Dad. He passed away awhile ago but he used to play music like all the time. And play it very loud. Also reminds of parties we used to go to at our grandmothers house. She loved to throw parties all the time.

There were several top Dutch bands around at the time (Shocking Blue, Earth & Fire, Golden Earing etc) & Geoge Baker was up there with them. Sadly, recognition in the UK was limited .
