And in Matthews 23:23 Jesus was not justifying tithing at that particular time Jesus did not condemn their father's traditions because his purpose had not yet been fulfilled Jesus said I came not to destroy the law are the prophets but to fulfill and at the day of Pentecost those traditions of the Jews became obsolete in other words what Jesus was telling the Pharisees is to seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness then all those other things shall be added those material things of tithing were just physical things but you must have the righteousness of God on the inside of you and the scribes Pharisees and Sadducees were self-righteous Jesus was trying to let them know that all of that tithing is not good enough to get you in heaven for you must be born again of the spirit to see the kingdom of God people Jesus would have had to be a descendant of the Aaronic priesthood in order for tithing to be for today but what preachers do is justify material things and wealth more than they justify Jesus he said if you are not with me you are against me God sent his son Jesus to redeem us and give us Grace but preachers today put too much emphasis on God and the Old testament and he lied again and said the tree of the knowledge and good and evil was the Tithes if that was the truth then it would have been written in the Bible every time words came from God directly from God it was written in the Bible the first time Tithe was mentioned was when Abraham met Melchizedek and he gave him a tenth of The spoils of war bread and wine because Melchizedek is like unto the son of God Hebrews 7th chapter but Jesus Christ is greater than Melchizedek and Abraham and the Aaronic priesthood he is an everlasting priesthood king of Peace king of righteousness
