One died not quite too old, the other way too young, but both were definitely born to be in the spotlight while here on Earth. Two immense talents; both very much beloved.

So very sweet. And it's hard to believe but true -- George was 85 when they filmed this and now, on this coming New Years Eve 2023, that will be JOHN'S 80th birthday. God rest them both, they deserve that. John will ALWAYS be my favorite person. (Other than my SON, of course.)

On this day in 1980 {April 20th} "I Wish I Was Eighteen Again" by George Burns peaked at #49 on Billboard's Hot Top 100 chart; it had entered the Top 100 on January 19th, 1980 and spent 10 weeks on the chart... When the song peaked at #49 George Burns was exactly 84 years and 3 months old, thus becoming the oldest person to make Billboard's Hot Top 100... Mr. Burns passed away on March 9th, 1996 at the age of 100... May he R.I.P.
