Him and Robin Williams. And for an added curveball, Douglas Adams, just so we can be completely informed on how to look at modern technology from the appropriate angles. I would love to hear Douglas's take on smart phones and social media. I am pretty sure it would more enlightening than the crap that is being touted by the "experts " today.

I started hearing/seeing Carlin in the 60s (yes, I'm that old). Unlike most people, who start out young and fiery and then mellow with age, he started out mellow (hippy dippy weatherman, etc.) and got angrier and edgier the older he got. Sometimes he was prescient - all the things he said about women's rights, abortion, the media and political religion were dead on. Unfortunately, for almost a decade now, we've been living a George Carlin routine.

Or you could vote for 3rd party Greater Good candidate, Dr. Jill Stein for the Green Party, on the ballot across the country. Say goodbye to the two-party (really one party) shell game.

He was an awesome person, one on one as well. I worked on one of his videos when I was in my early twenties. He took the time to sit down and talk with me for about an hour and a half, just to give me a pep talk on how to survive in hollywood. We were in the middle of production. He didn't have to do that. But that's the kind of person that he was. He was authentic 100 percent.

George Carlin was a very smart Comedian and. I agree with everything he said. Because he's telling the truth. No one has the Right. To force their so call. Religious Beliefs on some one else.

Thanks much for finding and sharing Carlin, and whomever created the presentation: such ability to bear witness, articulate with irony, humor his observations, present clear values with which we could agree ---or not, but then are ourselves challenged to intelligently, diligently respond.

I agree with ShaneHerald. George Carlin passed in 2008. He is my generation. He was talking about certain corporate interests who are the money behind the politicians. The ones making money from drugs, food, property, and other goods and services, to the detriment of the rest of us. The ones who make laws skewed to protect them and their interests. He was not referring to all corporations, not all rich, just the ones who commit crimes against humanity. The ones that consider people as mere numbers and products; not our humanity and intrinsic value as human beings.
