I started hearing/seeing Carlin in the 60s (yes, I'm that old). Unlike most people, who start out young and fiery and then mellow with age, he started out mellow (hippy dippy weatherman, etc.) and got angrier and edgier the older he got. Sometimes he was prescient - all the things he said about women's rights, abortion, the media and political religion were dead on. Unfortunately, for almost a decade now, we've been living a George Carlin routine.

He was an awesome person, one on one as well. I worked on one of his videos when I was in my early twenties. He took the time to sit down and talk with me for about an hour and a half, just to give me a pep talk on how to survive in hollywood. We were in the middle of production. He didn't have to do that. But that's the kind of person that he was. He was authentic 100 percent.

The ones making money from drugs, food, property, and other goods and services, to the detriment of the rest of us. The ones who make laws skewed to protect them and their interests. He was not referring to all corporations, not all rich, just the ones who commit crimes against humanity. The ones that consider people as mere numbers and products; not our humanity and intrinsic value as human beings.
