Dude could sing! He could have been a crooner easily. Sing, dance, act. Today, there are superstars that don't have half his talent. I don't know how his stardom from West Side Story didn't propel him to mega stardom, but he sure could have been for many years.
@carolechapman7312 жыл бұрын
But the same thing happened to Rita Moreno. Such a talent, yet she didn't get any parts for, I think it was 8 years, after winning the Oscar for West Side Story

Of course, West Side Story; a 1967 television production of Kismet With José Ferrer, Barbara Eden, Anna Maria Alberghetti and Hans Conried; the others were probably variety guest spots and the last one was with Catherine Deneuve and Gene Kelly in Jacques Demy's French musical Les Demoiselles de Rochefort (1967) 🙂

@neecicoleman30632 жыл бұрын
Not sure which one you're speaking of. The song in the black and white sequence is "Stranger in Paradise" from the musical Kismet. The color sequence is "Just the Way You Are" by Billy Joel. Just a heads up, the og by Billy Joel isn't as upbeat as this rendition.
