So - lots of clever talk; no demonstration of any complex organisms living significantly longer than usual. Awesome!

Right, why even bother doing research if we cannot get the end goal immediately?

You can store the genome for any organism in one cell from that organism. Axiomatic.

I heard it said that injecting stem cells from someone else, doesn't work because the immune system detects it as foreign.. However, the part that's scary is how the stem cells between an Alzheimer brain and a non-diseased brain are the same.. yet when differentiated, lead to different functioning neural progenitor cells! So assuming one's own stem cells can be made into endothelial/capillary cells.. what confidence is there that it would function properly and deliver blood to a neuron cell? Regarding the non-protein-coding area of dna.. aside from cis and trans regulatory elements that modulate gene transcription, any thoughts on the role other junk dna plays - Pseudogenes , Transposons, Satellite DNA /telomeres?

Aging reversal is a great technology. I definitely want to see it. I do fear one thing however: wealth and power is already concentrated in older persons, if they never die how will that affect future generations ? Or to put it another way: what would the world look like in 2019 if Stalin was still alive and kicking? Or Jim Crow politicians? Or entire generations of the racist, sexist elites that ruled us in past centuries?

Yankee, these are the most legitimate concerns about life extension. Wealth inequality can be dealt with via progressive taxation. If Stalin were still alive, someone would probably kill him, or maybe he'd be in a different line of work or some sort of witness protection program. The final problem of a slowing of social change does not have a good answer. We could have "term limits" in more areas. One could make the argument that social changes are coming too fast, and some amount of slowing down might not be the worst thing in the world. While there would be more old ideas around, there would also be more wisdom that comes from a longer life experience and a sharper brain later in life. These might at least be countervailing factors. Maybe it wouldn't be as bad as all that.

life is unfair - get over it. I don't get why Gen Z folks have so much trouble with this. Maybe because they were coddled from the womb?
