I grew up (like many others) listening to and being influenced by his music and when I met him in 2003 we hung out for hours picking each other’s minds and talking about music and creativity. The man smoked weed for the whole 5 hours we kicked it 🤣🤣🤣 And he embraced me like a nephew which is why I told him he’s my Unk Funk! 💯 . He welcomed me into the P Funk family and the very first time (among several other times) seeing Parliament perform live…I was on the stage with them!
