My advice to you Brad having experienced a similar situation. Children hate to see their parents fight they can also manipulate a situation to bring their parents back together. 😢 They are old enough to know if they want to be with their Dad at Christmas sounds like a toxic situation to me either way. Enjoy the holidays let the situation cool down ask for the kids to spend time with you if denied walk away the world knows you want to be with your family. Each day we wake up we have a chance to enjoy the day. Those who ruin it for others are miserable toxic do not deserve to be a part of something healthy why I walked away from my family so many years ago if you stay there you will get stuck. Treat yourself healthy and those who follow will be similar in emotion. Another year gone by so much drama in the world believe and have faith all will fall into place. Celebrate those who are with you rejoice that you have a friend allow those who are hurt and have resentment to feel those feelings easier for some people to just close the door and walk away others will scream stomp their feet and bitch like children. Remember to love yourself first and try to let those who love you in even if you believe they don't. 🎉 Good Luck
