Like that bearded guy said one thing i loved about Batman and Robin was the stuff with Alfred. It felt really emotional when he was dying and Bruce remembers when Alred raised him when he was a kid. It felt really sad when Bruce said he loved him and he was gonna lose the man who was like a father to him and hade always been there for him.

Batman the character is known for keeping his cool, being collected, and using his wits in a tense, high-stakes situation to come out on top. But it's in those moments when a special villain is able to get under the Bat's titanium exterior and push him over the edge, where we learn about the human side of Batman. One of the best and most famous examples of this occurs in The Dark Knight, the famous Interrogation Scene between Batman and Joker.

In my opinion, this was probably the best Batman movie and George Clooney was the best Bruce Wayne/Batman actor I've seen so far. I am disappointed in seeing so much hate on this movie George and the director shouldn't be so hard on themselves really. They did a great job with this film. And even if Clooney wasn't a "true Batman fan"... There is still no denying that this man was able to play the role as Batman which is something that most "true Batman fans" will never be able to do in their lives. Reality wise.

Michael Keaton didn't come back because he didn't like the direction the series was going... He was right. Batman Forever kind of showed the lighter side where they had Val Kilmer as Batman. He whined and treated the other cast members rudely, and he even didn't talk to Schumacher for days after he told him to stop being so rude. He didn't come back for Batman and Robin because he didn't want to, and Schumacher didn't want him. Then George Clooney came in expecting a cool movie, then he saw the

Clooney is incedible. And he never even wanted to do this movie, the only reason why he did is he got a shed load of money and a contract with his agent that he never had to a do a film he didn't like ever again after this. So in my opinion playing batman in a movie thats rejected but all but a few (me being one of the few), in return for complete creative freedom sounds like a good deal to me

@stirigiy "Batman & Robin" is considered the worst "Batman" film ever and "The Dark Knight" is considered the best "Batman" film ever. Plus, it doesn't matter if they're based on the same characters, it's the portrayal that matters. Take Daniel Craig's James Bond, for example.

That's one of the mistakes Schumacher made... Bruce Wayne NEVER gets over the death of his parents. And typically, you don't get over that in real life. It's what makes Bruce Wayne Batman. It's what drives him to do what he does. You take that away from him... that morbid, sort of brooding in the dark thing... and you destroy the character.

I love George but he doesn't really understand the Batman pathos. Batman's lack of "well-adjustment" is what makes him Batman, he simply can't let go of the memory of watching his parents mercilessly gunned down. If you take that away, you loose the core of who Batman is.

That is a very false statment. Marvel is actually has more darker characters than D.C. Examples Blade, Daredevil, Ghost Rider, Hulk(from the comic not the film), etc. D.C. is actually less modern than Marvel as Well. But your first statement is right he is noob for calling batman Marvel.
